  1. Past hour
  2. whenever i question my manhood and toughness i watch a little bit of soccer and feel so much better.
  3. I agree. Seems like the smart move would be to keep Shavers as Wr5 and place Samuel on IR to start the year and bring him back as late as possible. Theres close to zero percent chance he stays healthy all season, so keep him from getting injured by placing him on IR.
  4. Yeah, we stomped them that one year. Although that was the year that they traded AJ Brown and their offense fell off a cliff. The point remains that Vrabel is 2-3 vs McDermott and that’s with the Bills having a near massive QB advantage for almost every one of those games. Please stop with the AI slop.
  5. You're right. This happens in American politics all the time. A new government comes in all full of talk of reform. And then it becomes obsessed with retaining power regardless of its principles. It's particularly true of Trump 2.0 (and yes, to be fair Biden before him, and Obama 2.0 before that). That's what happens when the presidency becomes a Cult of Personality. You might well ask "what personality" with respect to Biden. And I'll respond that he ran on a Return to Normalcy plank. Restore stability in the government, take things more down a middle of the road track. And then he governed much farther to the left as he desperately tried to keep a previously winning coalition (educated white people, minorities) intact.
  6. No sweat. I know he has burst and it’s why I would be happy to have him on the team. I still think he missing parts of his game that Samuel has demonstrated. I admittedly was expecting this clip so sorry for jumping all over it
  7. Vet teams with continuity at both coordinator positions are going to be extremely cautious with injuries in camp. There are very few position battles and both the offense and defensive schemes are being carried over from last year. Guys know what they are supposed to be doing and almost all of the slots in our 53 are filled. I'll start to worry if guys show up on the actual injury report leading into week one. My main concerns are Shakir's high-ankle sprain (because those linger) and Hairston missing valuable camp time as a rookie. The other stuff will probably sort itself out over the next three weeks.
  8. Team had the option last year of playing shavers over Samuel in the playoffs and other important games. They didn’t and I don’t think this years camp proves he’s better than what Samuel’s did put on tape (unless you think Samuel’s injuries have caused his play to diminish further). If they had the same contract would you put GabeDavis behind shavers? Would you put Samuel’s behind him?
  9. No. I am just showing he has a burst as well. You're reading wayyyyyyyy too much into a simple post. Sheesh.
  10. Know Your Enemies. Pats D was 9th in NFL DVOA 2024. The Patriots' secondary is expected to be a strength in the 2025 season, with a combination of strong young players and veteran additions. Key players include Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis at cornerback, and Jabrill Peppers, Kyle Dugger, and Marcus Epps at safety. Key players and their roles: Cornerbacks:Christian Gonzalez: Emerging star cornerback, expected to take another leap in his development.Carlton Davis: Veteran cornerback signed in free agency, known for his physicality and press coverage.Marcus Jones: A quality slot corner, potentially playing more on offense, according to some analysts. Safeties:Jabrill Peppers: An elite safety with high overall grades in recent seasons.Kyle Dugger: A solid starter, though he battled injuries last season.Marcus Epps: Another safety who provides depth and competition. Strengths and Expectations: ESPN predicts the secondary will be the Patriots' top strength in 2025.The combination of Gonzalez and Davis is expected to be one of the league's top cornerback duos. The Patriots are aiming to re-establish their defensive identity with a revamped coaching staff and a strong secondary.NBC Sports Boston suggests the secondary has the potential to be a shutdown unit. While other teams in the division, like the Patriots and Dolphins, are expected to improve, the Bills are seen as the clear frontrunners. Here's a more detailed look at the projected wins for each team: Buffalo Bills: Projected to win the division, with some predictions placing their win total at 12-5 or even 13-4. New England Patriots: Expected to be more competitive than recent years, with projections around 9-8. Miami Dolphins: Projections range from 8-9 to potentially 10-11 wins, with health being a key factor. New York Jets: Projected to be at the bottom of the division, with predictions around 7-10 wins. The Bills' dominance in the division is largely attributed to their strong performance over the past five seasons and the continued presence of star quarterback Josh Allen. However, the Patriots, with new leadership and some key acquisitions, are seen as the most likely to challenge the Bills for the division title.
  11. If you remember all the times the Titans gave us trouble, you have to remember the times when we stomped them too. Vrabel coached this game, and with a prime Derrick Henry to boot.
  12. I understand what you're saying and respect your opinion, but... Curtis Samuel had 253 yards and 1 TD in the regular season last year. Yes, you can argue that that was because of health, but the best ability is availability. He had games of 9 yards and 4 yards receiving in the playoffs (and yes, a good game against Denver). He has posted more than 600 yards receiving ONCE, and it was in 2020. I think his name and the IDEA of what he "could" do is more enticing to people than what his actual production -- both as a Bill and in the years preceding it -- have shown. I agree that game production should mean more than camp production, but currently, Shavers is showing major camp production while Samuel is once again on the sidelines with an injury. What if Shavers shows out in the preseason and Samuel is sidelined? Ultimately, it's likely a moot point, because Samuel's dead cap number this year would be large if cut, and his contract is structured for 2026 to be the more likely "out". He'll most likely be making the roster.
  13. Samuels would still pull his groin......and hamstring
  14. Next year the Bills need to rent an Olympic size swimming pool and have training camp in the water to avoid all the leg injuries.
  15. The best news all camp has been Milano. He's dominant when healthy.
  16. Looking forward to all NFL cameras this weekend zooming in to dudes cracking smelling salt tubes or packages before going out on the field.
  17. My biggest concern is the reliance on older, injury prone players- namely Tre, Milano, and Bosa.
  18. I love Shavers and would be very happy with him on the roster. One play in garbage time does not show me he has more juice than samuels. Bills would agree as they continued to play Samuels after this play. Are you saying this play puts Shaver over Samuels? The juice that Samuels provides that I dont/havent seen from Shavers is getting open downfield (this is literally Shavers only target/catch in the NFL). Taking a screen to the house against the blitz is great but is something Samuels also does. Again I love Shavers, but considering him a better WR than Samuels is silly. Reminds me of folks who had Moore as more important than Palmer this off season. Sheesh.
  19. Edmunds is a singles hitter when he's paid to be a guy that drives the ball in the gaps or hitting it over the fence.
  20. I remember Puddle of Mudd...one song.
  21. Brown flipped the bird at Deck Chairs? I wonder if he's gonna threaten to kill Brown's family now.
  22. -So what I've read today is Maye is legit and the patriots defense may cause fits. -Tua doesn't throw incomplete passes and the Jets......well they suck im not saying well go 6-0 in the division this year as these teams are building to beat us, but im not going to get too worked up until the games are underway.
  23. Forgot about Shady. Yeah, he was really solid for a couple of years. Teams do honor them, they follow it as it's written. Not sure which example you'd have where that isn't the case
