I think that was Chris Trapasso. He also had Jordan Hancock graded higher than Jahdae Barron.

we really doing this over 8.2 yards a game? we really doing this over 2.3% more completion rating? or we going to ignore that Herbert was sacked 27 more times.. im trying to understand what your point is here? -

Elijah Moore Visiting the Bills today (Update: Signed!)

Well, actually, yes Herbert literally had more yards passing per game than Allen. He and Allen had the same yards per attempt on the season and Herbert had more yards because he completed a higher % of his passes than Allen did. -
Any chance Tre White is our answer for Safety depth? He knows the system. Good tackler.

it would be interesting if Joe Brady had formations with Alec Anderson and Hawes out there.

Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
Allen2Moulds replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Kentucky beat reporter stated that he was pretty much unbloackabke in 2023, and was constantly double teamed. There's certainly contrasting opinions on him That being said, I believe this dude has a very high ceiling, but a lot has to right for him. Given his height, he's always going to struggle with pad level, but if they can get rid of the bad weight and turn it into good weight, it'll go a long way. One of the ways you can counter pad level is with quickness/momentum. The single most important trait in the trenches, is that 1st step explosiveness. I feel like he has that, and we just need to maximize that trait, and keep him healthy. -
I think Dorian Strong but if I had a dark horse it would be the TE. We don’t have anybody who blocks like him and he can replace the 6 lineman and also be a receiving weapon because of it. He won’t get many receptions but I could see him being a red zone target especially inside the 10 yard line. he wasn’t on my draft radar but love the pick

Kinda interesting that Marcus West the DL coach is not working with those guys. Maybe he is working with the ends.

I watched the presser. He didn't.

The article said that but he mentioned the Bills call on his press conference with the Detroit media on Friday. I think Sal also referenced it on his podcasts

Which rookie do you think will most exceed expectations? I think Dorian Strong or Jason Hancock. Both of these guys come in with low expectations, but I think they will surprise. Hancock might make a very good deep cover Safety with his speed. Strong already looks impressive and shows a mental toughness and determination that is sure to win over the fans, coaches and teammates. Who is your pick?

He plays the penetrating style of defense the Bills want. He sacks Drake Maye and Shaduer in the video and stops Maye on Qb sneak. Who knows?

Yep. I think that is the ball park. And with the 3rd year of the extension being a pretty comfortable out for the Bills. Maybe around $5-6m dead cap ideally... but definitely no more than $8m. So it might be $15m AAV as the shiny number for the agent. $12.5m AAV as the number for cap purposes and then about $11.75m AAV if the final year of that extension is one he isn't really likely to play on because it has a big cap # but most of that is non-guaranteed base salary (you'd either extend and lower the hit if he is still good or cut bait if he isn't..). Davis can't easily replace James Cook anywhere. Also worth saying for all the Davis lovers.... he is less than two months younger than James Cook. So anyone thinking it's a young guy with more development..... not sure that's the case. He is an OLD 2nd year player. Basically it is just a choice to accept getting worse in order to get cheaper. Normally at running back I'm fine with that. But when the running back is clearly the most dynamic skill position player on the offense I am less gung ho.

So a rookie DB wants to intercept the league MVP? Am I supposed to have feelings about this?
