According to Cover 1, Coleman will be a healthy scratch

once he gets his head right i absolutely want to see him out there again we need more weapons and it doesnt seem like they're very interested in going out and getting one so coleman developing has to be a priority -
Does Mecole make it to next week?
Royale with Cheese replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean he did have a great kick return too. -
Chris Brown said today that Shakir was wide open in the middle of the field on that play. At least he can open up passing lanes unlike any other receiver on the squad.
-
Poyer made 15 tackles, the gashing happened in front of him.
-
That's right, Jerry Rice fumbled twice in his first game, should have been waived

A Few Thoughts about the Bucs Game - Community Edition
corta765 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
@Virgil 3. Shakir So I agree with you to an extent, but I actually think it is deeper with Shakir and his productivity being down. This last game it was these three factors: 1. Injury, they absolutely used him as a decoy 2. Josh looking for bigger plays and not looking low as much 3. Teams are defending him differently now. Take a look at Shakir's numbers from mid 2023 right before Brady on his production skyrocketed. Brady absolutely found some cheat code stuff with the screens and short yardage which he blossomed under. Last year he was brilliant in the slot and game in game out he was dynamite. This year though teams are doubling him and cheating down more so it has been far more boom or bust. Luckily he is so good he is more boom then bust, but if you combine his longest catch yardage in each game together literally half his yardage this year has been on those plays (227 yards). By comparison last year he had 353 yards on his longest each game out of his 821 yards receiving (factor in last game vs NE he didn't play). Still a sizable amount by any means but he was a bit more diversified. Additionally as others have pointed out Brady has not been using him across the middle the same / Josh has stop throwing to him nearly as much there. Overall he is still on a trajectory for a similar season to last year, but his usage has been different by comparison and Buffalo has struggled a bit in how teams have defended him IMO which is part of why the passing game has been stifled. I truly believe if they can get some better outside WRs in next year you could see him go off for like 1100 yards 80 recs 10 TDs. -

one thing is for sure....if/when he sees the field again.....he better really work out there. Frankly I don't want him out there unless one of the guys who played yesterday gets hurt -
I loved his speed and juice. Hope his "quad injury" doesn't keep him out.

Agreed. There's room for some plays on offense for a guy that fast (I'm assuming he hasn't lost significant speed) -

Funny, when this thread first popped up on Saturday I was under the impression that Keon was being benched due to his play on the field and that the coaches had game-planned for an offense without him. However, we later learned that this was due to a punishment based on him having missed a team meeting on Friday. That begs the question: was he being phased out of the offense anyway -- or (especially, given that the infraction occurred AFTER the offensive game-plan against the Bucs had already been installed) was he originally going to play a major role in the offense? If it is the latter, kudos to the players and coaches for stepping up and running a highly productive offense with last-minute changes. -
I mean, the Rams just cut Nacua too. Accountability has to start somewhere

Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things, and why we need it
HappyDays replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
We've tried ball control the last two KC playoff matchups. The strategy fails because KC's offense has their way with us and then our offense inevitably has to open it up anyways, and it's hard to change up your whole offense like that in the middle of a game. Might as well just open it up from the start so they're ready to score on every possession in the 2nd half... Yesterday wasn't always pretty especially early on but Allen got loosened up and was throwing rockets and dimes the entire 2nd half. Score 40 and you'll win almost every game. -
I’m not anointing him as being great but for a Bishop detractor I am proud to say he looks physical , athletic and locked in and I was premature. My apologies to Cole and does this defense need him in the worst way.

Palmer TE Shakir Davis/ Shavers Cook/ Johnson Josh Palmer Shakir Davis/ Shavers Cook /Davis/ Johnson Gilliam Josh IDK We either need TE protection or be able to hit the backs. Maybe we go big and try the middle. Ok I'm done. Almost, We need to take points when we can. Not get stupid on 4th and shorts.....like before. Play the game for 4 qtrs. Winning by a point is still winning.

no. he doesn't get a pass. the man leads our country, yet he doesn't have a thick enough skin to deal with television like late night hosts and south park? and trump doesn't use his platform to share his thoughts. he uses it to throw tantrums, attack other people, and tell us what a wonderful job he's doing. i think there's more than enough on our president's plate he has to take care of instead of his hurt feelings. i've always though someone needs to take twitter away from him. it doesn't seem to help.

We saw the jet fly almost directly over us. They were definitely inside the 3 mile radius. We were joking that Mary Wilson wanted to see one last look at the stadium. We also saw two other commercial jets fly around the southeast corner of the stadium.

I don’t disagree at all, I’m just a guy who works with numbers all day and there are two sides to every stat, sometimes three. -
i was big on him coming out of college, but ate some crow about it watching him play last year (he flashed a couple times, but many many more times was cheekful). now i think we are seeing him play more free. to me he is to the safety position what spencer brown is to the RT position. not fully formed/skilled but such a monster athlete that if his attitude and temperament are on point he has the potential to be a huge impact at his position.

The OP has a point. If Josh can’t account for at least 7 TDs in a game, they need to bench him and give someone else a chance!

Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
BigAl2526 replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
Coleman has had a season and a half to show signs of maturity. He hasn't. It makes it seem doubtful he's ever going to grow up. His trade value is minimal though. I would guess somewhere in the 5th to 7th round range.
