  1. Past hour
  2. Looking just now, the Dow is at an all time high and ny retirement is up ~10% since New Years Day! That's not return projected for the whole year, but actual gain since 1/1/25.
  3. They have been arresting criminals, have you been sleeping? In your feelings I see. He's definitely unemployed! Big sad.
  4. Back to the thread. The Real Loser of the Trump–Putin Summit? Europe Russell Berman FTA; The upcoming Alaska summit between Presidents Trump and Putin could shape the endgame for the Ukraine war. While international law supports Ukraine’s full territorial restoration, battlefield realities and Western half-measures make compromise likely. -Such concessions would challenge moral principles and risk rewarding Russian aggression, yet Kyiv may have little leverage—especially with NATO and EU doors still shut. -If terms are too unfavorable, President Zelensky could reject them, but that risks losing U.S. support and exposing Europe’s inability to act strategically. -Regardless of the outcome, the summit may leave Europe weakened, constrained by internal divisions and lacking credible military deterrence. https://nationalsecurityjournal.org/the-real-loser-of-the-trump-putin-summit-europe/
  5. You really think he’s going to be charged with anything? Lmfao
  6. I suggest it was immensely successful, and that destroying the entirety of the fissile material is an impossible, ridiculous, and utterly unachievable standard. Israel destroys your air defense system and nuclear facilities over a five day period. The international community engages in a days long discussion of attacking the facilities. With that heads up, you would have to be an absolute moron to not remove this stuff from those very same facilities that were largely destroyed. It still has to be converted to metal. It still has to be weaponized and strapped to a missile, and if any of those things are noticed, stand by for round three.
  7. I would trade Groot/Oliver, a 1st for parsons and a 3rd/wr.
  8. They aren't even doing a great job at the player personalities so far. The buffalo Joe was pretty cool, but I feel like theres alot of other really cool stories they could go into. But I think your seeing a reaction from the giants HKs. Let's be honest it made the giants look completely incompetent. Joe schoen is clearly a more passive kind of guy and I bet hbo probably filmed whatever they wanted and took advantage of schoen being a passive guy. Beane is not a passive guy at all, I guarantee beane is telling hbo what they can film of him and its clearly not very interesting or drama filled.
  9. People shouldn’t confuse college production or lack there of with NFL talent. The NFL is looking for specific attributes like height, speed, blocking, hands, etc. Production is down the list. Take UGA WRs/TEs for example. The last UGA receiver with 1000 yards in a season was Terrence Edwards in 2002. His NFL career lasted 6 games w 1 catch for 10 yards. Since then GA has had guys like AJ Green, Pickens, Bowers, and McConkey. None had 1000 yards in a season college, all have eclipsed that number in the NFL. Ladd and Brock did it as rookies this past season. Also look at Cook vs Davis. Davis was much more productive in college, yet Cook was the 2nd rd pick and is a NFL star. Davis is his backup. FYI they are the same age.
  10. HOW “INDEPENDENT NONPARTISAN” THINGS USUALLY WORK:
  11. The 4th down sneak was the obvious one to me. There was an overhead angle where you can see the nose of the ball cross the line by very convincing margin. On such a crucial drive, IDK how the refs are able to make such a game defining call. Obviously, it doesn’t mean Buffalo automatically wins, but it increases their chances drastically. A Chiefs/Bills game is about as even as a matchup as you can possibly get in the NFL. All it takes is one bad call to completely sway a game in the other teams favor. Seems like the NFL is fine calling an even game in the regular season, but come playoff time the Chiefs almost always get lucky. Is Mahomes just that more clutch than Allen?
  12. Good news as my replacement knee is ONE years old today. 🎂
  13. And the 2025 TBD shiniest object award goes to………
  14. I think the Bills attempted to get bigger and more physical along the defensive line to matchup against the Ravens and KC much better. The Bills 2024 D-line while not small and not terrible against the run did have issues against bigger nastier offensive lines during the regular season. Walker is a mountain of a man but they also brought in Larry O who while not a massive player is known to be a good run defender as he has aged into his career. Joey Bosa is also considered an elite edge run defenders and Jackson is a big dude off the edge as well. Hoecht is also a bigger edge defender with a lot of versatility. Sanders is smaller but was known as a good run defender in college. The D-line is less likely to get pushed around this season than it was last season.
  15. YES. NEXT QUESTION: Are Democrats Really This Desperate to Defend Crime? CNN’s “The Arena” got tense Thursday when the overwhelmingly left-leaning panel tried to claim that crime is worse in red states than in Washington, D.C. — completely ignoring that the cities they cited have long been run by Democrats. The tension hit a peak when Republican strategist Scott Jennings went toe-to-toe with former Obama advisor David Axelrod, who thought he had Jennings in a “gotcha” moment. Axelrod tried to deflect criticism of Democrat-run Washington by bringing up Jennings’ hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, clearly thinking he had the upper hand. It was a classic Democratic move, aimed at countering President Trump’s crackdown on crime in the nation’s capital. But Jennings anticipated the setup and quickly pointed out that Louisville — just like D.C. — has been under Democratic leadership for decades, with both a Democrat mayor and a Democrat governor. Axelrod pressed his point. “Your hometown of Louisville has comparable murder rates and property [crime]. So you’re saying it’s all about the Democratic mayor and Democratic… Would you advise the president to describe Louisville as he describes Washington? Would you support sending the military into Louisville?” Jennings didn’t miss a beat. “Well, Louisville and the District of Columbia are two different places because the Constitution designates—” Axelrod tried to interject: “The president says he can send them into other cities.” Jennings seized on the interruption to make his point clear. “Exactly right. Louisville is a violent place. We had a kid shot at a bus stop. We have an epidemic of violence in Louisville, and it has been under Democratic control for decades, and my state’s been under a Democratic governor for the last two—” Elliot Williams, CNN chief political analyst, who was also on the panel, conceded part of Jennings’ argument. “Absolutely true. But you can’t deny that it’s politically advantageous for the mayor [sic] to go after the mayors of—” Jennings interrupted with an agreement, though he turned the point on its head. “Can I agree with you on politics? It’s good politics to reduce crime.” “Agree,” Williams responded. “That’s why Trump is reducing crime,” Jennings said bluntly. “And I don’t understand why Democrats want to keep it the same.” https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2025/08/15/are-democrats-really-this-desperate-to-defend-crime-n4942727 Roundy lying ? Who'd a thunk it. No, Sean Dunn, the man accused of throwing a sandwich at a federal officer in Washington D.C., has not been exonerated. He has been released on his own recognizance by a federal judge, who found the felony charge excessive. However, he is still facing charges and is due back in court for a preliminary hearing in September. In addition, Dunn, who previously worked for the Department of Justice, has been fired from his position.
  16. Hope I have room for it with the 23 pills I take a day. The prednisone and the anti rejection meds (8 pills) are the ones I can't miss a dose. Those 23 also include OTC magnesium, vitamin D and aspirin.
  17. Bill Polian once said, to have a great team you need 3 Cornerstones. QB, LT to protect the QB and a DE that can consistently get after the QB. Now I would add a damn good CB in this day in time, but his philosophy still holds true today. We have Allen, Dawkins and.... A bunch of average bodies that aren't considered a threat to any OC. Football hasn't changed so much that a stud DE should be a HUGE priority. But we keep drafting, and queue the whiners talking about where we draft, and we keep adding average / hopeful FA's. Until we can hit on a guy we have to pay 30+ mill per year to, then its just not going to happen. Josh would have to re structure, we would need to send a player or 2 and at least 1 first. See my post above about how Polian said to build a team. I trade AJ, a 1st 2026, and a 2027 2nd and make the trade. Move the damn money around for this guy to get an extension and lets put to bed us HOPING the DL will deliver.
  18. Buffalo should be all over that deal. Give Beane a mid round pick, and he drafts a pretty good player. Give him a first round pick, and he drafts…a pretty good player. Go get a stud. If it costs you the next Hairston, Coleman, Kincaid, Elam, etc., so be it. Just keep finding Benford, Shakir, Knox, and Johnson with day 2 and 3 picks.
  19. Some people can't handle the truth. Let me know when they actually arrest a criminal and not some preschoolers. In case you missed it, they are working on quotas. It's all about the number of arrests, not actual criminals. Besides real criminals are dangerous. It's a lot safer going after guys looking for work at Home Depot. Lol, there's way more crime per-capita in small towns, especially in red states.
  20. Not sure, clearly it didn't work in DC. All the best.
  21. I now live about 300 feet from the west end of that property. The other end is the gas station and my cardiologist. The whole length of that property was about a quarter mile long and maybe 200-300 feet deep. It bordered Cayuga Creek.
  22. I said this earlier but there’s not a player other than Josh Allen or draft pick I would give up to get Micah into Buffalo. He is a HOF edge with like 6 - 8 years of prime left He’s multiple times better pass rusher than any edge on the roster. we’ve spent 4 years complaining about not getting pressure on Mahomes in the post season and we have people saying Micah doesn’t much value?
  23. Parsons is great in the regular season against bad teams... He is a huge liability against the run and disappears in the playoffs. I wouldn't give the farm for him
  24. I’m only interested in winning not making ownership more money. I.e. paying a defensive end the money parsons demands would be low value for the bills in terms of impact on our W-L record. It might be worth it from ownership’s perspective in terms of jersey sales.
  25. There was this woman who would call in and call him "Artie Baby Boom Boom"
