  1. Past hour
  2. That's another reason why it's insanely frustrating that the Bills do not have a SB appearance in the Allen era. Their point differentials over the past few seasons (prior to this one) have been other-worldly for an NFL franchise. You just don't see it. These opponents are all professional football players and it's not like you can just push them around that easily. Many fans here are probably younger and don't get it.
  3. Did you have to sign up for it, or did it come without any request from you? I'm asking because I haven't received one, and I'm wondering if I missed the notice. Or if it's only for people who bought seasons in the new stadium.
  4. There will be be some around here that will complain that the Bill’s Lombardi is not shiny enough.
  5. It begs the questions, did they cut the ending off early because Gabe dropped the line...
  6. I’m good with Bass coming back. I just have a feeling we’ll need someone to nail a key 60 yarder at some point this season.
  7. With that handwork and quickness why not line him out on the edge. The tackles who prepare for micro-speed rushers will be shocked by walker’s size and power.
  8. 3rd and 12? Hell... I don't even expect them to stop something that short! What REALLY gets me screamin at the TV is a fantastic rush on 2nd down resulting in a 10-15 yard loss and then turtle up on 3rd down resulting in a 1st!
  9. You know, I dont know... I know he was out injured early on and McD hates that... I saw him in a few preseason games he was relatively a non factor... I think it boils down too the others are playing better than him and he is a rookie... but I really dont know it could be a lot of things... ...
  10. Thanks for this. It relates to how I feel about the book. I imagine someone asking me why what I have to say in the book is relevant to anything, what makes it special, what credentials do I have? And I've realized that I wrote a book that's just about one fan's experience with Buffalo and the Bills. My experiences are different from yours, but they aren't better or worse. There are tens of thousands of people who have been fans of the Bills for decades, and they each have their own experiences. The only thing that makes me different is that I like to write, so I compiled a bunch of my experiences and put them on paper. If we were talking over a beer, we could go on all night, sharing yours and mine, big moments, crushing moments, funny moments, all of that. Maybe you need to pour a cold one before you start reading.
  11. Until this year, I never really cared about Prater…
  12. On the flip side there's Groot who only tries to contain and NEVER generates any pressure
  13. Although I love your movie, “I’m Spartacus”, the Bills are the #1 rushing offense in the NFL, and the Cheats are 25th. The Cheats are 26th in pass defense, and we are 3rd. We win this game through the air. We are the better team. Not afraid, but they can threaten us if we’re complacent.
  14. I trust Prater but anything beyond 45 yards to me is dicey with him. The leg is not as strong as it used to be. But i'll say this, his mechanics seem great. Most of his kicks are perfectly straight. They don't have the draw or slice. Bass often pushes his kicks right and sometimes barely stay inside the goalpost.
  15. Good signing. He’s had issues with contain but he wasn’t brought here for that. Hopefully he’ll improve a bit there.
  16. It has also long been the case that the person who best knows how to stop Sean McVay's offense is Kyle Shanahan. Which is because it isn't really McVay's offense. It's Shanahan's.
  17. RIP
  18. “…Bosa's start has been strong with a league-high four forced fumbles, already tied for his second-most in a season. His league-leading 23.4% pressure percentage is the highest of Bosa's career and his 18 pressures are tied with Green Bay Packers pass rusher Micah Parsons for the NFL's most.” "I won't mention the exact count of what the plan is, but there is a plan, and it kind of got away from us [vs. the Dolphins]," Bosa said. "Some of those drives were long and they'd look at me, and I'd be like, 'No, no.' I hate being pulled out in the red zone even if it's a really long drive cause I just, you want to be out there and no matter how tired you are. "Ideally, we keep it below that, but at the end of the game, if it's crunch time and I need to be out there, I'm going to play as many snaps as I need to, but I think the goal is to try to get rest earlier in the game and steal some snaps on first and second down early," Bosa said. "So, by the time the third, fourth quarter rolls around, we have some in the tank that we could use. But yeah, the goal isn't to go out there and have an incredible one game. It's about consistency and longevity for the season to manage that." https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/42034528/joey-bosa-new-chapter-injury-concerns-buffalo-bills
  19. I expect until the Bills defense shows any competency in stopping the run their opponents are going to game plan to focus on the running game and play action when passing to take advantage of that problem.
  20. I thought it was a little early since the game wasn't quite in hand yet. But kudos to the sound guys for getting the stadium back in it. We were a frustrated murmur at that point. Strange to say it, but it's timing is normally a celebration, but I'd go as far to say as if actually helped seal the game.
  21. Yeah, the reason they lost that game was they coughed it up 5x, including twice inside the Steelers 2 yard line and another as they were moving toward the game winning score. But the point was that under McDaniels they're moving the ball much better than we've seen the past couple of years. How that looks in Buffalo is of keen interest to Pats fans. Nobody's really expecting a win, but a competitive 31-27 type of game is very possible. We feel like we have our QB, the OL is now fairly solid, and all the coaches are good. No QB runs like Allen. Maye has speed but he's looking to avoid contact. Maye's arm is good but a rung below Allen.
  22. I thought it was just me, everything I have is to large to post.
  23. Ya the Pats have good RB and a very explosive rookie RB in Henderson that when he gets into open space is scary good. Their biggest issue is fumbling the ball. Maye holds onto the ball? 5 of the 13 sacks were from Pittsburgh who has a great pass rush and well that game the Pats also couldn’t hold onto the ball was just a messy messy game for them. I don’t see the Bills getting 6 sacks but I could be wrong they probably get 2 or 3 from coverage since most of our WR aren’t good getting separation. should be a great game hopefully no major injuries for either side.
