He does say things like that. Whenever he's asked. Which isn't all that often. but when it happens that's the kind of thing he says. More, it's the kind of thing pretty much every player in the NFL says when asked about their teammate's financial issues. It's about a half a step up from "He give 110%." And yes, it's a duh there. He (and virtually all NFL players) compliments guys after they leave the team. But that's less obviously necessary than complimenting the guy when he's still on your team. Josh does it when asked. They all do. You say Josh's words aren't online because he didn't say them online? Do you see how ridiculous that is? When he has "an interview/press conference," as you say, know what happens? It gets video'd. The videos are online. It gets reported. The stories are online. It gets covered by podcasts and internet savants, and their reports go online. they get reported online. This happens consistently, and so often that it's wildly boring that we see these same quotations again and again and again. And again and again. And again. All those things that Josh gets quoted on on the net? He said pretty much all of them at PCs and interviews. Hell, he said the thing you're quoting about Cook at a PC/interview. That somehow got reported on the net, didn't it? The reason you can't find it is because he didn't say it. Again, I'm totally willing to be proven wrong. But without a link (or a page in a newspaper story, or whatever, but proof), it didn't happen. In any case, I hope they do come to terms. It they do, IMO it will be because Cook came significantly off his $15M figure.

How much did you pay for gas and groceries today?
Wacka replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Gas prices shot up about 15 cents when Israel started bombing Iran. They have already come down a few cents in the last week since the bunker busters and Trump reading the riot act to both. Sibce I don't drive much and fill up about every 4-6 weeks, it should be sown to what it was the next time I fill up. -

If this is accurate - we're winning the Super Bowl.

If he turns out to be a good NFL QB, the Manning family dynasty would just be crazy. Talk about NFL royalty...

Geee Larry, I thought you believed hard work and talent were just an old trope. I realize elites are out of vogue but even maga bills fans pray for a Super Bowl win. -

After all these years of accusing Democrats of politicizing and lying about this, you must be feeling pretty proud. I’m sure this will hit close to home - for you, your family, and your friends.

Such drivel, but at least you have the obligatory boogieman to blame. I’m quite convinced there are successful millennials (and successful boomers), unsuccessful millennials (and unsuccessful boomers) and so on. Your problem begins with the premise that millennials are “flat-out not given chances to succeed”. For all its warts, the opportunities for success in this country are limitless, but successful people usually are wired differently than unsuccessful people. Typically it starts with intellectual maturity, belief in oneself, the desire to work hard in exchange for the value derived, but the willingness to do things most others will not. I’m not even sure what you mean by a “boomer…passing the keys”, but assuming a younger person wants to work in X business, but the position they want is filled by the perpetually charming and delightfully competent L. Skin-nerd, the best course of action is to find something else to do. The end…or A Beginning? The guy in the story is unique. He’s the same type of unique individual in every other generation past and future. Good for him! - Today
