This line of thinking only works if they have proven to get it done in the playoffs before. They have not. They have fallen short each and every time. Eagles and Chiefs have earned their benefit of the doubt. I’m sure you can see that.
-
In the NFL you need to re-invent yourself every season and every week. Not For Long. Other teams will know your tendencies, know your weaknesses, and exploit them. McD & Beane are putting out the same schemes and signing the same players and we get the same result.

Throw one more C in there and we are talking about something else entirely

This one is up there with 3-6, 16-42.

Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?
Nihilarian replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
In a word YES! Want to assign blame then look to the current offensive coordinator. Joe Brady is brilliant at run schemes and he sucks goat nads as a passing game coordinator. McD needs to find a passing game coordinator ASAP! -
I said it in another thread but this team looks like a team that has had Super Bowl or bust expectations for years and come up short. It’s like they’re swimming against the tide this year. Nothing is easy. Everything is labored. How do you manage this team if you’re McD? What do you say to them? Put this one behind us men. One week at a time. Focus on how we play not our opponent. Whatever it is at this point I imagine it’s getting to be a harder sell.

If he does and gets involved at that level he’d be like Jerry Jones. That’s never a good thing.

McD should give a speech about the commitment and coordination of the Taliban attack on the Kabul airport during the US evacuation. A little jihadi talk always seems to get the boys fired up. -
Considering the Super bowl champions lost buy two touchdowns to the Giants.. and there still one of the top contenders It is a league of parity.. once the playoffs come it is much more apt to judge by the best game you could play not your worst It doesn't mean you're going to play your best but it shows what your ceiling is .. any team can play a stinker But the focus goes up more in the playoffs.. do you think Josh Allen has the bills prepared and not fired up for a postseason game like today? I don't believe so.. everybody still thinks the Chiefs are the team to beat and we can beat them
-
We 100% need a fresh start at GM and Coach. We have for years.. Instead we fiddled around, happy that the drought was over and wasted Allen's best years
-
If you only focus on the highs and ignore the lows, and losing to the Falcons and Dolphins are some *HUGE* lows - you're getting an incredibly biased and inaccurate portrait of a team. If your floor is the basement, especially if it's happening as often as a third of your games, looking only at the ceiling is an incredibly short sighted thing to do.

Probably as many times as Dick Jauron said it after losses. The Chiefs also have Chris Jones. -
AJ Brown is unhappy in Philly.

Hardnocks?

The title says it all. We’re stale. We shorten games on our own, despite the fact that our D is decimated by injury. But we also can’t play fast, because our WRs are trash. It’s no fun right now, and nothing is easy. It’s the first time I’ve seriously thought we might need a HC change since McD arrived. The fire and the joy just aren’t there.

Don’t think it’s fair to say the OL isn’t as good as in years past. They run into heavy boxes all the time and still somehow usually are effective. When we have to pass, they typically give JA plenty of time. Blitzes being something that can trip them up but that’s a lot of Brady/Allen with identifying blitzes and hot reads. And this is with nobody getting open so they have to hold blocks and with Kincaid, who on the rare occasions he’s healthy AND on the field, we signify to all that it’s a pass play.

As it stands right now we’d be playing the Pats in the first round lol. -
I believe our offensive effectiveness depends on how defenses approach us. If they attempt to confuse Allen with zones and various formations, he is capable of figuring out their strategy. However, if they stack the box and blitz, it creates challenges for us.

Week 10, 11/09/25 Around the NFL (no Bills talk please)

Can't tell if serious? -
This season reminds me of the season a couple of years ago when Dorsey was fired mid-season. Bills started off strong and then the offense seemed to get figured out. Same thing with this season, but this time we don't have an assistant coach who could step in for Brady, plus I don't think McD will fire Brady during the season (or probably at all).
-
as I mentioned a couple times, I bought three tickets. Three tickets together were never under $100 at any site at any time.
-
I said in a different thread I judge NFL teams by their highs not their lows The season is so long and there's so much attrition it really is a league of parity I judge you by how you look against the best not against the worst because Josh wakes up for big games Brady had some lulls mid season 2.. more often than not he was able to whip the team specifically the offense in two shape

I don't think it's over yet either. But time is running out. In 2 of the last 5 seasons I've seen the Bills overcome worse situations then they are in now. So it would not surprise me to see them go on a run. But it also would not surprise me to see them fall flat on their face and struggle to have a winning record. And that is different then how I've felt at this point in any of the last 5 seasons. -
So was it the 4 of 6 for 20 yards in the 1st quarter that was "jaw dropping" or the 5 of 9 for 53 yards in the second? The interception or the fumble? He had a bad game, good grief. I am done
-
It's real simple and it's something i've been saying for weeks: Every team in the league knows the Bills want to beat you on the ground. In large part because we have no one that can win on the Outside with any sort of consistency (Kincaid was the only one, but he's in and out of the lineup), even against single coverage. So teams key in on the Run game, crowd the line of scrimmage, and force us to try and beat them with our dumpster fire WR core. When we run into teams where our Offensive Line and Cook are able to overpower them even when they're planning for it and we're able to put points up early - we're good. Even against good teams like Kansas City. If we can't and especially if the team gets a lead on us - we are physically incapable of catching up and winning a game through the air. It doesn't matter if it's a bad team like the Falcons or the Dolphins either. We're simply screwed if we need to rely on our pass catchers for anything. Ultimately, this team lives and dies by whether or not Cook and the OL goes crazy or not. Which makes it a week to week team. We could potentially beat a really good team or lose to a really bad team. Being one dimensional is nowhere to be if you want to compete in the NFL.
