Trump/Elon Breakup Fallout

I agree. Even setting aside environmental concerns, EV technology is the future. Basically no maintenance. Faster. Better. The long range thing is the only issue holding them back, but that will come. A nudge in the EV direction strikes me as good policy for all of those reasons. -

Archie Bunker, is that you? I would ask you to read the post of @Sierra Foothills, who said it beautifully. Wealth inequality in America. The NFL pricing blue collar fans out of watching their product. He said it better than I could. Your post, I suppose, is the opposite viewpoint. The capitalism worshipping, greed excusing, "anybody who doesn't wanna bow to the power of the free market is just an immoral and un-patriotic hippie and can go sit outside when the games are on" side. To each their own. As for the "self made billionaires" stuff, 16 of the league's owners inherited their wealth or their teams, so the "business savvy" stuff is pretty rich with regard to NFL ownership. If you want to talk about some of the realities of end-stage free market capitalism in America, I'd be happy to do so in DMs so as not to further derail this thread. I'll only say that if you can't understand why some people are presently feeling a bit of "evil rich" and "capitalism bad" mentality, as you call it...you may want to poke your head out the window and look around from time to time.

Live in WNY and get all Bills games for $0. Or go to the local sports bar and watch the games. When I lived in the SF area, I saw every Bills game. Srink pop if you don't want to drink alcohol.

Wonder if the company that got the contract to pitch the wind factor design sell bridges too? Obviously a wall and cover would be help diminish the winds compared Highmark’s open ends. -
So just looking at some of the tenure on our posters lots of history here, I was interested in who your favorite (s) Bills are that just didn't get enough recognition or were under rated (its a slow time of year lol) .. So, Over 60 years of history here... who are the players that you loved that didnt get the props they deserved for what they did. I am gonna go in 3 loosely defined era's Early, Middle Current... Early - Bubby Braxton met him once super good guy was my favorite player in the era. Punishing FB instrumental in helping OJ to 2000 yards, devastating blocker, and had running ability as well. People here remember him... not sure he ever got the recognition in the shadow of OJ Middle - Kyle Williams this is really end of middle started in 2006, I believe he may have gone to a pro bowl... but this guy was drafted after John McCargo lol, I dont remember a bad game, he was a pit bull and a major leader during a period that there just was not a lot of over all talent on the team.. this guy brought it everyday. We need more like him Recent/Current - Shakir just something about this 5th rd pick, never going to be confused with Justin Jefferson, but he gets open makes clutch catches takes tough hits runs after catch and imo is headed for a 1000 yd year if he stays healthy. I think we appreciate him as a player, not sure he gets the recognition he deserves outside of here for what he means to the overall WR room. How about yours...?

No it's not. An investment implies the earning of profit.

was going to post something similar. Absolutely brilliant move. OKC was sort of confused on D, and Halliburton was able to just roam around nicely to find his spot. If they had called a TO, odds are they double Halliburton, or even force another turnover on the inbounds. -
Taking what we want is also the American way! 🤣

Great decision by Carlisle not to take a timeout at the end.....they knew who the ball was going to, why give the Thunder a chance at setting up their D.

Here's the thing. Air Forces and drone swarms are great and all. However to sustain this war, Ukraine and Russia are operating conscription based recruiting regimes, feeding recruits into training programs with 4-12 week training cycles. They're sustaining the equivalent of 1-2 battalions per week KIA/WIA/MIA. Of course their are exceptions, like Azov or the VDV. How do the USMC or Army operate in an environment like this using the All-Volunteer model where every infantry recruit gets 16 weeks of just Basic. Nevermind specialist schools or AIT? How do you execute doctrine if your maneuver battalions depend on peacetime trained specialists, but are losing a squad or a platoon a day just sitting on the contact line?
