  1. Past hour
  2. Seahawks had a punt return for a TD, and a blocked punt that gave them the ball at the 11 yard line. They also had a short field for one of their scores due to turnover on downs. Saints seem capable of beating themselves, so we’ll likely see a conservative game plan again.
  3. I guess their scouting dept isn't watching many UT games this year.
  4. Dude, this made me want to give every emoji response, all at the same time, all for different reasons!
  5. Here’s the deal, if you are not negative enough, you quickly get labeled as a Homer who will not tolerate any criticism whatsoever. You and I both know that is not true, but the label is quick to be applied when challenged by the handful of Negative Nancys here. We have a very good team. We should have more positive than negative to discuss. I have no problem with anyone pointing out mistakes or questionable moves. crap happens in life, it’s not personal. We are here to discuss the Bills, for better or worse. If the negativity and complaining seems to be all ya got, however, that is tiresome and often childish. I don’t see why more balance is so elusive here.
  6. We've seen the best of Oliver. We've seen probably the best Bosa can give us. Rousseau is what he is. DaQuan is given over extended playing time - I call it unsustainable reps for the entire season. What do we have on DLine, the key area of defensive improvement in 2025? So the hope is the PED guys as well as banking on the improvement of Walker and Sanders (both got fair size of playing time). I'm not going to comment on Hoecht, in theory he should but no one knows if he's the same guy without taking PED. I do think improvement of Walker and Sanders can be expected, especially during the bye week when they get a break from game week preparation and look back on what they learned and focus on are for improvement. Not big jumps but it is relatively easy for D-Line to get to used what to look for keys across the O-Linemen in front of you. Backend, you hope for Bishop to gain more confidence and be more decisive in triggering his action. I do believe for CB2 they will rotate in Hairston once he's ready to play.
  7. In addition to fades being a terrible low percentage play, Allen seems especially bad at them. He never throws the ball high enough.
  8. I got my first pair of hearing aids, they did nothing for me. In fact, they made things worse. I shoved them aside and didn't wear them for a year. Finally, I took them into the audiologist and told her. She disappears into the backroom with them, she comes out later and says "no wonder you don't like them, they are broken." So the whole time I had them, they served as expensive ear plugs instead of hearing aids. Note: the hearing aids were from the Veteran's Hospital, so they were low bidder
  9. Great opportunity for Brady to get to know some of the players he’ll be coaching on the Saints next year.
  10. Yes, more pressure from the front four is something we all wanted to see this season. But, it's only week 3. Yeah, the Bills are currently 22nd in sacks. But they are also 13th in QB pressures (which is not terrible and they should get better). 1. Bosa has been playing well (1 sack, 8 pressures, 5 hurries, 3 QB hits, 2 QB knock-downs). He's been pretty active and is still getting acclimated to the system and working with the guys around him. I think the sacks will come. 2. We eventually get back Hoecht and Ogunjobi...which should make the overall line better, which will hopefully lead to more pressures and sacks (even if not by those players specifically). Plus, we were missing Ed Oliver last game (who was playing great the first two weeks). 3. We played the Ravens and Dolphins. Lamar is a really hard player to sack or even hem in...and Tua was getting the ball out of his hands in 3 seconds, the majority of his passes were behind the line of scrimmage. Tough to judge the DL too much (in realation to pressure) with those two games. Need a few more games to see where we really are. 4. The more this unit plays together, the better they should be. There were 7 new D-lineman added this year (and two of them haven't even seen the field yet), and two new coaches were added, specifically to help the pass rush. ...give it a little time.
  11. The Patriots turned the ball over 5 times yesterday. That was the first time they have done that in over 15 seasons. To think that’s who they are is just not the case. Dominate? Yes. They out-gained the Steelers by over 160 yards. Held the ball for almost 7 minutes more and had 50 percent more first downs than Pittsburgh, Maye completed over 75 percent of his throws.
  12. Not worried about this game, but the prospect of a walkover just before a divisional game against a hungry team that keeps losing games it should win does give me pause.
  13. The Saints seem to be all-in on tanking for Arch Manning, so this game really is about getting as big a lead as possible as early as possible, then getting as many starters out of the game to avoid injury. I think this is going to be another conservatively called Offensive game plan.....there really is no need to do anything more than that, IMO.
  14. Oh gotcha. I’m not sure if they can win next week. But I think they can get to 3-3 by the time Rice is back. Which would set them up for a run per usual.
  15. Same. Miamis defense was/is awful. They were down to guys off the streets at CB and they kept Buffalo in check. Instead of Buffalo dictating the flow of the game they lets scrubs dictate and Buffalo took the plays that they were given. Yea they won but if a bad defense can say "beat us with screens and shallow passes" what's a good to great defense going to do? Not saying these two teams are good or great on D but they are better than Miami.
  16. That is not 110,000 people lol. Are you not going to believe your own eyes? That is nowhere near 110,000 people. I won't pound the sand that it's 3 million and will admit that's probably an oversight but it's significantly more than 110,000. I have walked out of UGA games that also have several thousands tailgating outside who never go in the stadium, that's not anywhere near 110,000 lol. Kirk's total service inside and outside the stadium is estimated at what....200,000? Kirk's crowd was double that lol?
  17. Why on earth would we believe this chick? She wouldn’t have a job without MAGA DEI Well if you completely make up a quote and attribute it to me, then I sound pretty bad!
  18. I think Cole Bishop really solidifies himself on the back stretch of this season... McD's defense is tough to learn. His mistakes have looked like processing the field slowly, hes got all the physical talent in the world. I think we're a damn good team at filtering players that have high on-field IQ. At minimum we get very good floors out of players in secondary by doing this. ...yes, I know theirs a player that didnt meet that^^^, horse been beat to death, plenty of other examples reflect my theory. Dallas-player's tenure here was weird all around, from day 1. We dont need elite play back there, (especially as this DL and the rookies shape up) elite play is certainly welcome, but anything from 'Average-Above Average', is good enough to get the job done.
  19. So you’d think, but if he hasn’t clipped his nails he could scratch a cornea or something! 😳
  20. Well if you (or anyone else) needs tickets - I have between 3-5 extra tickets. Just looking for what they cost me ($250ish) Anyone feel free to message me if interested.
  21. If using last years final ranking then yes, that makes sense. I took the question to mean will it improve from the first games or “ now” through the end of this season. The question wasn’t asked in say, June. I’m not even sure where the Bills defense stands now as far as rankings go, but it’s safe to say most fans have concerns. I think this is more than just about defensive rankings anyway. The Bills defense has failed in the playoffs even when they were highly ranked statistically.
