  1. Past hour
  2. So did I. I went into the rule book to find it, and was mistaken. Although so was Terry McAuley (or whoever the rules analyst was last night). It doesn't have to be a knee that touches, which I think is what he said. I couldn't quickly find a video of the slide to check again, but I still think he might have been short? Rule 7, Section 2, Article 1.d.2 sliding or diving. When a runner slides or dives feet or head first or simulates sliding or diving, the ball is dead the instant he touches the ground with anything other than his hands or his feet, or begins to simulate touching the ground
  3. These are the exact things said before the playoff game last year. The Ravens have also failed to stop our offense the last two games despite all their name brand talent on defense. As I mentioned before the Bills are 4-1 against Lamar and the Ravens in the last 5 matchups including 2-0 in the playoffs.
  4. Prater has not missd any kicks, plus a game-winner that he so cooly walked-up with the clock running and nailed, tho Hamilton missed blocking by a hair as our edge missed the block...so Prater is good....with lingering pelvic soreness Bass may have a sports hernia ? surgery would have him out 2-3 months, if so the answer is IR and Prater replaces (now the oldest player to every play for the Bills)...one for the old guys !
  5. He just got laid
  6. It would be an instant upgrade. Hope we get him
  7. He only had 3 snaps on offense
  8. If Bass' confidence was shaken before...I can't imagine what this is doing for him. Either way, I hope he gets right. Bass is young with a huge leg.
  9. I'm just curious. After the TD by Cook, it was 27-19. Why go for 2 point conversion there ? Why not just kick the extra point and have the score be 27-20 ? Down by just 1 TD Anybody know what McDermott was thinking ?
  10. Thanks for clarifying. Although he's really earned a spot Josh mentioned Prater told him pregame "I'll give ya everything I got" SOLID
  11. Speaking of Anderson...did we even run a single play with him in as the 6th OLineman yesterday? I don't remember them saying anything about him coming into the game and declaring himself like they normally do.
  12. I thought I remembered him doing it a few times before that game, but also in the latter part of the season, which made zero sense whatsoever. I mean how do you go 3-4 months with minimal problems and then suddenly start pissing yourself in the middle of routine play calls?
  13. Keep in mind that the Bills would have the opportunity to put him on the 53 if another team put in a claim on him. They still have 2 more PS elevations to use on him, so no real need to make that decision until after game 3.
  14. Quinton Morris was TE3 for a few seasons. Seemed like every year, he would have 4 catches total. But each was always a big clutch play. Here's to Hawes continuing the tradition.
  15. Let's be real, the Ravens blew it. They couldn't give an inch and they did. After the fumble, the scrappy Bills did the rest and didn't allow them to recover. Buffalo deserves all the credit in the world for playing till the end, but Baltimore had no business losing that game.
  16. Talk about trying to invent threads lol. The Bills won AND the Ravens lost.
  17. some whispers it's the Bills. Hopefully... Saints or Steelers also likely IMO
  18. We definitely won. 95% of NFL teams would’ve been cooked after the final Henry TD. We weren’t. That said, despite the untimely fumble, I can’t help but dream about what sort of team this would be had we signed Henry. I think a lot of people thought he would hit the dreaded RB wall beyond the age of 30. He doesn’t look like he’s slowing down at all.
  19. I don't know how coincidental it is they the Ravens always seem to make a critical mistake. That seems to be how they're at this point. Major credit to the Bills for being in position to capitalize on that if and when it occurred.
  20. I am a little bit more defensive of the offensive playcalling. Partly cos there were some bad alerts by Josh first half and partly because until the Ravens eased up into a prevent style in the 4th Qrtr there was zero separation outside every time they did call to go down the field. Other than that on offense my concerns are minimal. Defense I think my more sustained long term concerns are greater.
  21. It wasnt even all of last year. He saved all his brain farts for the KC playoff game, since thats when it's best to just completely melt down.
