  1. Past hour
  2. HOW do you let Rodgers beat you with his legs???
  3. I’m fine keeping the weird kickoff rule but they should go back to the original onside kick rules where teams could stack one side of the field to actually have a legit chance of recovery.
  4. They were in a tough spot. From a pure football standpoint, sticking with Darnold was obviously the right thing to do. But they had an investment in a rookie QB that they felt they needed to play. I would have to imagine that ownership has a large say in that decision.
  5. ok thanx bud, ill try that maybe..... gotta get my tv box up n goin, got er last week......anyways, thanx n take care....cheers......LETS GOOOOOOOOO BUFFALOOOOOOO
  6. I will be 62. The qbs were not babied. Guys like Tyler Murray, even Mahoney would've been crushed and not drafted for their own safety
  7. They were hoping to bring McCarthy through. And, after last year, teams were interested in giving Darnold a job as starter.
  8. Apparently the vaunted Vikings defense had too much lager in Dublin
  9. I see DK feels motivated today to show out in front of a new audience. It's a shame this level of play isn't consistent with him. He could be great.
  10. I wish they'd just go back to the old kickoff rules. College does it. High school does it. Just think. The Bills comeback game might not have happened. We recovered an onside surprise after our first TD. The Saints recovered a surprise onside kick to open the second half of a Super Bowl which they won. SOMETIMES things don’t need to be changed.
  11. Russ had some great individual seasons after the defense fell apart. Sherman has hated him since the interception on the goal line. That’s nothing new. I think Russ is kinda interesting though, because it does feel like his case gets weaker as the years go on. Its sorta like if Jalen Hurts had some great individual seasons but didn’t win much, then got old and fell apart.
  12. Is it possible you’re biased given the way Oregon ended that game last night? Try to look at this objectively and with no recency bias.
  13. Man Weintz is just bad , I would have run it back w/ Darnold
  14. Wow. This is an offseason July worthy comment
  15. Used to be the Hyatt. Not sure if that’s still true, but it most likely is. EDIT: Except for the Bengals. They stay at the Motel 6.
  16. I'm more concerned about the Chiefs, Chargers and Ravens than the Steelers at this stage. I think the Steelers have a tougher schedule than the Bills anyway (vs Packers, at Chargers, vs Bills, Ravens x2, at Lions) so they'll drop a few games. The Vikings seem ripe to beat up bad teams where their defense can keep them in a game, but the offense is nowhere near good enough - more specifically at QB - if they need to win a shootout.
  17. I find it all very interesting. But I haven't seen anyone come up with conclusions about it, as to what it all means. Neither left nor right.
  18. That was such a huge play, glad they got it right but at 14-3 that was a sign and not a fluke play.
  19. Yup, third down “D” insures I stay on my meds, lol
  20. That belongs to the last 1st pick of the draft before the rookie salary cap came into effect. Sam Bradford made approximately $130M without doing much in the NFL playing for four teams.
  21. And when you wish they had another loss bc the way the seeding works and securing home field? Wrapping up home field and resting starters is the goal.
  22. You’re right. My point was that it is an isolated game and probably will be for the year which correlates to it balancing out over the course of a season, essentially “removing” those yards. Pass rush? Yes. Groot needs to show up for that contract.
