  1. Past hour
  2. This post might also be useful in @Pete Keon WTF threadšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  3. This kid Solomon is a speed rusher. Why don’t they play him? I don’t know anything about the suspended free agent signee Hoecht. Does anybody know what he brings? I had gotten tired of seeing Epenesa out there but he seems to have made more big plays than Rousseau. Maybe trade one of them when the suspended guys return and get needed help at other positions?
  4. Yeah, no. These are professionals. They aren't going to take picks from a team that generally picks around 30 instead of better picks AND to a Division Rival. I remember seeing this line of thinking when posters were talking about Jerry Jones potentially trading for James Cook before the Draft. I'd point out that the potential trades they'd post didn't match trade value charts - i'd get "well ya see, Jerry Jones is teh dumb". That's not based in reality. As dumb as you think certain teams are, they aren't so dumb as to take lesser offers and trade in division if they don't have to. They wouldn't have to with Garrett Wilson and where we pick, we'd have to offer a lot more than others. Not only bc we're in Division, but because our picks are consistently about as low as they can be.
  5. Get real - if they were going to trade him they certainly wouldn’t trade him to a team in their own division.
  6. I love the idea! But as previously mentioned, the Jets own him for now. He will get continuously frustrated if the Jets can't find a QB and coaching staff. But Glenn is likely gone soon.....so??
  7. As most of us here have been saying all season long.
  8. You are a Pats fan. Every post you make is anti Buffalo. You should leave the board or admit you aren’t a Buffalo fan.
  9. Olave seems like a more realistic target. Very unlikely the Jets trade a player of that caliber within the division.
  10. On the year, Worthy is averaging 36.25 receiving yards per game. If you include his rushing stats, he is averaging 49.5 scrimmage yards per game and 0.25 TDs/game. He has 1 TD on the year and missed two games due to injury. Keon is averaging 45.20 receiving yards per game and 0.40 TDs/game this season. He has 2 TDs on the year. Keon may not be setting the world on fire, but are people really still lamenting over a player who is averaging 36 receiving yards per game? Career update---Regular Season (prior to Bills week 6 Monday night game): Games Targets Receptions Rec yards Rec TDs Catch% 20+-yard recs Yds/Reception Yds/Target Total scrimmage yards Total TDs Keon: 18 86 50 782 6 58.1 15 15.6 9.1 791 6 Xavier: 20 116 70 763 6 60.3 6 10.9 6.6 914 9 If Keon hits just his current career average of 44 yards on Monday night versus Atlanta, he will have 826 total scrimmage yards---just 88 yards fewer than Worthy, but also in one fewer games (and with approx. 26 fewer targets than Worthy). Again, I think both players can be good as they mature. But, I'm having a hard time understanding those that think Worthy is sooooo superior to Keon at this point when looking at their stats head-to-head.
  11. I don't understand why Russ is on the roster at this point. At the very least he should be inactive. Winston should be the back up to Dart.
  12. By the time the Jets have a clue ,Wilson will be retired.
  13. It’s the Jets, they don’t exactly have the best track record of making good decisions.
  14. The first Bills game I went to was free. I was in my early teens and my friends grandfather ran one of the concessions. He got me to go with them to help out. We got there early, just his grandfather me and my friend. We went to the on-sight commissary to pick up some extra supplies, then walked to the concession stand. I was carrying bags of hot dog rolls and as we were walking through the concourse, I just had to run down one of the tunnels and look at the field. I was getting yelled at but just stood there. What a feeling. Years later I still got that same feeling.
  15. They just signed him this past offseason to a 4 year 130 million dollar deal. He’s not available even if the Bills were interested
  16. He talks to you like the authoritarian he is Complete with finger pointing
  17. Garrett Wilson is a stud. But they won't trade him to us.
  18. You honestly think that the New York Jets would choose to trade Garrett Wilson, who would have no shortage of suitors, in the Division to a rival? No way. We'd have to significantly outbid every one else to make them do that. Which given where our Draft Picks are thought of to be would be beyond what would be irresponsible to pay for any other position but a Quarterback.
  19. Send Hairston, Sanders, and Jackson. That still counts as a first, second, and third, right? right??? 😭
  20. They would never. maybe for 2 firsts
  21. For back to school shopping each year we used to go to Champion factory outlet for clothes, and were told to get all irregulars which were cheaper. It was a big find as you endlessly went through the bins to find something that someone couldnt tell was obviously messed up when you wore it I'll never forget my first pair of real basketball shoes - white Chuck Taylor high top Converse in 6th grade. Before that I swear some of the cheap sneakers I had to wear seemed like they were plastic on the bottom šŸ˜›
  22. He’s wasting away in NY gettir done Beane
  23. I said this a few weeks ago - if we don’t win the AFC it will be because we don’t have the weapons - specifically a WR 1. The league catching up to what we do - and the quality of defenses and QBs we play this year is unlike any year of the Allen era. Last year we needed to make a trade at 3-2. We benefited from the division being God awful. The Keon pick and a lack of development in the peak Josh Allen era should get someone fired. Spending the money we have on mid WRs - Palmer and Samuel - currently is egregious.
  24. Zero accepted. But yeah, I don’t believe for a second they played that cleanly.
  25. 5 games in and after a great week one, he’s been less than what I was hoping for. The fumble lost the game for us. Getting benched fo a series due to disciplinary reasons. Disappointing. I know it’s such a low efficiency play, but I’d like to see him targeted on some back shoulder sideline throws and be on the end of a few accurate jump ball passes where he can use his body control and size. He’s capable. He hasn’t really had many good opportunities. Ball location is key. He’s on pace for 71 catches 640 yards and 6.8 TDs. 10.8 yards per catch (way down from 19.2).
