  1. Past hour
  2. I see both Hamlin and Forrest making the team, the battle will be for the back up position for Taron Johnson in the slot and as the #5 Safety. Right now that'll be a battle between Cam Lewis, Hardy and the rookie Hancock. Lewis has been here a few years and plays both slot and Safety and is a prime ST contributor. Hardy was a rookie last year on the PS and can play both CB and Safety and can return punts. Hancock is a rookie many here are big on, it should be a great battle.
  3. Haha I just saw this. Talk about trying to distract from Epstein!
  4. I think that’s normal in a way. If the team isn’t performing you sort of look at the whole complete roster and ways they can improve.
  5. We used to be friends with a guy who is still a big name in rock music. My wife became friends with his wife, and we’d spend a good bit of time together when they were not busy touring around the world. When he’s home with friends putting dinner together, he listens to the Beatles.
  6. It is would have been something that players don't like and would have been incredibly easy to get given how much the NFL wanted the 17th game, something akin to getting floor mats when you buy a car.
  7. I believe a better question to ask is "Is anyone not a Beatles fan?"
  8. In 89, I brought a buddy to his first Dead show, in the Meadowlands. We went to Shakedown St, and my buddy wanted to get into the show, even though we still had time to soak in the Parking Lot scene, sure, lets go. We walked up steep stairs, and kept walking towards the nose bleed seats. We sit down, and start devouring mushrooms. We must of been making funny faces, eating dried mushrooms, trying to get them down. This beautiful Deadhead, barefoot and sundress on, kind as can be, walked up the steps towards us. We were only people up there. I say "look at this gorgeous Deadhead, walking up steep stairs our way!" She meets us" Greetings my friends. Mushrooms can be difficult to consume without something to drink. I brought you some tea I made this morning". She poured us two glasses of tea, and disappeared, like Scarlet Beginias. There is nothing like going to a Deadshow, and the kindness, genorisity, and great vibes. Trail Magic is same vein. Bills Tailgates are a slice of Deadshows, and about as close you can get. Play Dead
  9. Well then cope and seethe!
  10. I'm still mad at the bills about the Rams game Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of McBeane and company. Because I've heard many opinions on our style of D when we are winning, that particular line from them really peaked my interest. You would think you don't play the style of D the other team hopes you play. Josh keeping the cape on and shredding that banged up D til the end really saved us that week Ideally I'd like Josh to take the cape off third quarter and ride the bench while the D puts their foot on our opponents throat
  11. Paul McCartney will be at Keybank Center on Nov 14. https://www.msn.com/en-us/music/news/paul-mccartney-announces-2025-got-back-tour-buffalo-show-get-tickets/ar-AA1ImlTF
  12. And this is what Trump was saying. If he releases the names of those that engaged in the sick stuff - and doesn’t release the names of everyone else bc all they did was give him money to invest and just thought they were going to lavish parties - then Trump is just politically assassinating people, abuse of power, he’s protecting his friends, etc. This explanation makes the most sense So is there a way to know who the “innocent” ones are, redact them, and release the bad ones. If there is a way to do that, let us know. “I think there are people within the establishment—I don't know if they partook in the his sick things he was doing—but they have some association with him and they gave him money to invest when there was no reason to hire someone like that.” “He got a half a billion dollars somehow, from people who were mainstream establishmentarians on the basis that he was going to blackmail them.” “I think those names are numerous and I think the Trump administration thought, well we're going to release this and there's some crazy people that we don't care about, are going to be embarrassed....and then all the sudden, they got a lot of calls.” “Said, why are you doing this? I didn't do this, I went down to the island once, I was on a plane, I didn't touch anybody.” “There's a lot of people who were very powerful who were giving him money or were trafficking with him, not necessarily all them engaging in what he was doing, but just the association with him.” “And I think they're putting pressure on people. I really do.”
  13. hopefully babbich with a year under his belt will pay dividends this year
  14. Mr. Free Speech strikes again! No, why?
  15. What do Muslims do when Muhammad is used in cartoons or publications? Do you disagree with those violent death threats as well?
  16. Milano also left early along with Dorian Williams. Sorry I shouldn't have come across so aggressive but this game both offenses were peak of their power and I would expect both said what Goff & Johnson did because they were that good. The Rams game the week earlier bothered me wayyyy more because the defense was not nearly as maligned and the Rams in the week prior and after scored a combined 33 pts. As much as I am a big believer in the Rams that was just an abysmal job by our D and the flaws came out that they were not nearly as good as the stats showed (which given a reset year wasn't the end of the world).
  17. Hamlin is the star of the upcoming Hallmark movie, of course he's not getting cut... My son came home from HS football practice today & was all mad. He complained that several of the seniors on his team despite knowing the offense really well & knowing exactly what to do, just aren't good at football. I replied "sounds like you have a bunch of Damar Hamlins", he immediately agreed.
  18. Can you elaborate? I'm not sure if this no is no or it's a maybe
  19. Yes, Detroit had walk ons at LB, Hutchinson out for year etc we were a bit banged up as well. We had Douglas, hamlin, rapp, Jefferson and toolhill out on D My comment about the goff/Johnson comment was more about our philosophy during games, how other teams take advantage of it etc If we were healthy we still go into a shell/prevent style and work the clock on O and D game script ahead So this is just an example, and it's interesting to me hearing what the opponent was hoping we would do to give them a shot at coming back
  20. Agreed Thurman was actually pretty good at it too... I don't need the back to dominate, I need them to get in the way for 1-2 seconds... the ability to do this enhances the backs ability to not get keyed on all the time in passing situations.... if they are a threat to do both competently... If JC is out their in passing situations... and can block it opens up screens and outlet passes for him otherwise he is just covered. Thurman made a living off of this... well at least a nice 2nd job...
