  1. Past hour
  2. My thoughts will be on the forty years I’ve been watching and waiting for this moment. I think I’ll take a week off to spend in Buffalo. First order of business, talking to my dad, sister, nephews, and my high school best friend—the people who I text with every game even though I’m far away now. Next, heading to Elmwood to walk, eat and drink and soak it in. Then I will go to my mom and my older brother’s graves (next to each other) with a bottle of Jameson, and tell them all about the game.
  3. My immediate reaction will be elation and then emotion. I am a happy crier. So probably some tears. For me personally who started rooting for this team in year 2 of the drought it will probably feel a bit like the culmination of something too.
  4. We need to add some more emoji options. Nothing seems adequate here. .
  5. There was lots of tight formation stuff from Greg Roman - which Brady already does use - where Ladd was the widest wide receiver but still essentially in the slot. They were using Keon in some of those looks last year pre-injury when he looked like he might be about to breakout. Post injury there was less of it for whatever reason.
  6. The point is another scouting staff helped bring those guys here. While the Bills struggle to fix this secondary everyone make McD like he’s some kind of DB guru but if he was it would be fixed by now. 2 guys in seven years of drafting and free agents, compared to 3 in one offseason. Some guru
  7. So the Chargers found a way to get their multiple slots involved last night. Keenan Allen at 24 was a slot guy, he certainly still is at 34. Ladd is still a slot guy. We talk all the time about where some of our WRs are best suited or can differently attack a defense. What did you notice about how the Chargers got Allen and Ladd both involved and can the Bills and Brady use any of that to give the offense some different wrinkles with Keon getting some snaps at big slot, etc?
  8. apologies. genius me somehow managed to post this topic twice. I need to sleep longer in the morning. go bills
  9. Question: how do you get into the Hammer Lot? Just show up earlier than everyone else (how early is that?)? Reserve a spot ahead of time (how is that done?)? thanks
  10. Saturday, September 6, 2025. Day 1 of my captivity. They call him Boots. I call him the meanest furry rabbit I’ve ever had to deal with. Front paws the size of oven mitts. Eyes that pierce and drain courage from my own six foot body. Boots and three of his henchman rabbits grabbed hold of my arm when I bent down to pick up a flattened quarter. I was right near the portal (apparently) and Boots tugged my arm so fast I lost balance and slid into what appears to be an animal kingdom ruled by giant furry bastards that scurry about. My cell phone provides some light and Boots approaches. I can sense he is pissed off. He demands some of my carrots. I want some damn answers. I hand him one. Quid pro quo. “Why am I here?” I ask. Boots consults with his sidekicks while gnawing on a baby carrot. He replies “Squeak…skit skit skit, chi chi” Da fuq? Then I remember. I downloaded a rabbit translation app on my ride down. I open WabbitWords app and type in his statement hoping my spelling is correct. Boots’ was basically telling me I will stay in their custody until I return their deity. They believe I stole their God. I ask “Da fuq?? Who is your God and I’ll see what I can do” Boots lays out his oversized paw and glances at my carrots. I place one baby carrot into his pad. It looks like a Tic Tac held in this gigantic beast’s hand. Boots swallows the veggie whole and licks his balls (a sign of authority). He screams “Skeeeet Sbiiii Furrrrrpppp”. I plug this response into my WabbitWords app. The translation makes me shake all over. Please God, no. It meant “Bring Us FIGSTER!” (Collapsed from exhaustion)

  12. Lamar took that title away from him in the playoff game last year.
  13. Thanks San Diego. Now when we beat the Ravens, we will be one game up on KC and Baltimore for Home Field Advantage, one game into the season.
  14. Bills need the 1 seed…nothing else will do. Nobody needs the game more than them. People talk like the regular season doesn’t matter but it matters a lot…that’s how kc was able to watch while Baltimore and Buffalo beat the ***** out of eachother last year
  15. Well, last year, they miraculously won many games like this. Look at their last two games; I think the clock is ticking for them.
  16. Maybe if the resources, priority and expertise to land a high level coach are no longer there, but I'd have to disagree. While Franklin's consistently high functioning mediocrity has diminished the program's prestige a bit, I feel like there's still enough there to keep an elite level coach.
  17. oddsmakers don't care about respect. They care about money
  18. Today
  19. We did it with the Chiefs the last two years in a row. I will be happy with any loss on their schedule. They are not dead until they are buried and eliminated.
  20. The chiefs losing a turnover free game is borderline historic…I think it’s happened like twice with mahomes as a starter and the last time was week 17 2021 against the bengals. The ugly games people are talking about are usually the chiefs just being sloppy protecting the football and that kinda stuff you know is not gonna happen come playoff time these games where teams just seem so much more talented them all over the field are popping up now though and they feel like something entirely different/less correctable to me. They’re still a dangerous team of course…I wouldn’t ever suggest they’re done. But I really do think they have been at least a tier below the prime Chiefs for a year+ now and have gotten some good fortune which has them outperforming their talent level.. most notably they always seem to be freakishly healthy come playoff time lately
  21. Just watched... thoughts.... - Justin Herbert played great and I thought Greg Roman called a great game. In particular his designed plays against the Chiefs man coverage and all out blitz were excellent; - I thought even without Rashawn Slater the Chargers line held up reasonably well. That is going to be critical to them having success this year; - Losing Worthy early was clearly a huge blow to Kansas City. I think when all 3 are available Rice, Worthy, Brown has the potential to be the best 1-3 receivers Mahomes has had in his career. Brown - JuJu - Thornton however is a bottom of the NFL group (and I also think Pacheco is one of the weaker starting running backs, his limitations are now very obvious); - Goes without saying Jawaan Taylor in particular had a rough night on the Chief offensive line. Hope those refs have set a standard for the season his false starts, because he has gotten away with too much for too long; - I thought the Chiefs defense really struggled. The lacked pressure up front and McDuffie apart do not have the peices on the backend to do the match coverage stuff Spags wants to do. The only points where they look like making plays are when they are running the uber aggressive looks and as I said above by and large Roman and Herbert had the answers.
