Minnesota lawmaker assassinated another shot.
Orlando Buffalo replied to 4th&long's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Things that are included in "misinformation" that I have read on "reputable" sources. That the guy worked in Africa, that he worked in a funeral home, that he owned a security company, that he had a doctorate, that he was appointed by Walz for some job, that he had 5 kids but lived 50 miles away despite his wife not kicking him out, that the police had a shootout with him that night but he got away. Some of these might be true but the whole situation reeks of print first and confirm later. I will also point out that Twitter had his name and picture hours before the police released it, which makes no sense because the police have a manhunt without telling who he is? The whole situation makes no sense. -

FO: Bills over Texans was Top Defensive DVOA Ever Measured

Man, this is nostalgic for me for a completely different reason. Back in the old BBMB days after i just signed up, I was like I need some posts! I didn't want to be a noob. This was like 2004... So I went back and just found the oldest threads I could and posted things like, "yup," and "i agree." I had no clue that bumped things back to the front of the board lol. BeastoftheEast, now Beast here im assuming, chewed me a new one lol. Good times. -
Week 1 is going to be a big week for seeding in an already tough AFC. Whoever wins this first game essentially has a 2 game lead in the seeding race as they will be both up one and possess the tie breakers too. So I like the fact the Ravens are over focused on the past and may press more. Let them bring that emotion into the game as it will start to work against them once something doesn't go their way and the start pressing too much.

I wonder if his everyday life is like his political life with all the threats "if you don't grow up, something very, VERY, BIG will happen. I warned him, I told him, stop with this Button routine, grow up, he chose not to, he had his chance" "I looked at that salami sandwich and, and I said, you need to figure this out. You either get in my belly or that's it. You know what it did? It didn't sit on that plate, I'll tell you that much" "I got up and it came out, so I said to the fart, this is the last time. If you come out again like that it will be the last time for you or any of your little friends. I eat what I want now. No Gas. No gas at all"

I am a gentleman if nothing else, as many men of my era were encouraged to be. Some listened, some didn’t, so I don’t want to paint with a broad brush. On the other hand, too many compliments leave us precious little room for growth. One of the biggest issues for me in all this is that I have no idea what the real intel is on Iran, their nuclear aspirations and partnerships/alliances with enemies of Israel. On the other hand, the international watchdogs have said that they were up to no good, and that seems likely enough to me. Ceasefire, Hamas releasing all hostages, agreements all good. Regime change would likely be a positive, though who knows. Oh, I know it’s good Jack! Here’s the secret though—a little intermittent fasting goes a long way for me without the plant based diet. I’m a tad lazy on that, but was at a pretty decent weight a few months back. Sadly, muscle isn’t jamming up my bmi at this point, but maybe I ralky for the beach next month. 😉 cassette deck and mix tape. The good old days! I do like my m&ms. This is quite good, and you’re welcome for the inspiration playa.

RB and WR markets are actually insane.

Moss went on to perform well with Indy. Great, so see my original point that having Cook here on a deal deal wasn't a significant difference maker, and now add in the opportunity cost of losing out on other players due to his increased cap hit. The only way paying cook makes sense is if other players on cheap deals around him step up the point where we have no real holes, and maintaining the status quo at RB is the optinal move vs gambling on the draft or trading for/signing a better player. - Today

Oh no, not the dreaded… Autopen - the horror! This is nothing but a desperate distraction from the flaming dumpster fire that is the Trump regime. Biden using an autopen? Totally legal. Totally normal. All Presidents, including Trump, have used it for years. It's not a scandal; it's called efficiency. Nothing will come it just like Jim Comey and his dog and pony show with the Biden impeachment. And that fantasy hit list of Democrats you think are “FOOKED”? Cute. Meanwhile, Trump’s inner circle is either indicted, convicted, and looking for pardons. But hey, keep spiraling about pens - delusional, irrelevant, and 100% on brand for those trying to distract from absolute failure.

It's French I might have already said that earlier in the thread but I'm getting older and that's what old people do. -
Again, sure it would be better if no players went to our rivals. But, we can say the same thing about the Bills additions - If Hairston contributes to just one win or Moore, Sanders, Landon, Palmer...etc. Every team can play that game this time of year after adding FA's and Draft Picks - if said new addition can just help them add one more win. End of the day, Bills are in a loaded AFC, it won't be easy regardless if its Ravens, KC, or someone else. Bills need to just handle their business because if we don't there are several teams ready to step in front in the AFC and more on the rise. So I don't really this making our path to the top seed any different. The floor for the top seed in the AFC this year is 13 wins IMHO, and might need 14 or 15 to secure it. Week 1 will be a big moment in that battle as it immediately puts one of the top contenders 1 game back and on the losing side of a tie breaker so its more like a 2 game lead at that point. Bills handle their business at home, Ravens threat for over taking us in seeding takes a big hit.

In all fairness, he was the 25th ranked CB last year when healthy and he has rarely even been healthy the past 4 seasons. So he first needs to stay healthy and then needs to see if he can find his old form again. Benford was the 5th ranked CB last year for reference. I would have preferred he signed in the NFC too, but this move doesn't particularly worry me either. If he can stay healthy, I suspect he probably plays better there than he has the last 2 years in GB battling injuries which would be good for the Ravens. But that is a big if... He has only played in 14 games since 2022 He has missed 32 games the past 4 seasons since 2020. So staying healthy is a real question mark for him, and how well he can play after all these injuries the past 4 years is still a legit question which is why I am not overly concerned about the move either. FWIW - I know a lot of big GB fans that were not sad to see him go.

Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?

I don't think he was ever the worst. RAS isn't the be-all end-all but being #1 over a 25 year period implied the upside was high. -
