  1. Past hour
  2. Did IU answer your question today?
  3. My family has some huge Penn State fans, so there should be a soft spot for that team in my heart. However, I’ve never done such a 180 on a sports team in my life. Just as I was beginning to come back around, they hire Franklin. The guy loses and comes across as completely unlikable. I know many fans feel similarly, so I don’t know how they can stick with him much longer.
  4. Well that was a fun season. Wish they could have won a game! Oh well, there's always next season.
  5. Is Curt Cignetti doing for Indiana, what P.J. Fleck was supposed to be doing for Minnesota?
  6. I keep forgetting you can trade for coaches
  7. Yeah, that made me laugh. Comes in and says they "reopened federal charges" - which is just completely false. There was an initial investigation 4 years ago and no charges were filed. That's it from the state level and there was nothing from the federal level. The accuser filed a civil suit after he got paid, but that's it. He's claiming some "burglary charge". There's nothing there. In the allegation, the accuser initially alleged he stole stuff. But, again, they didn't find evidence to charge him. And in the civil case, there's no claim of burglary. It's just an SA liability case. So, yeah, that's just wrong. I guess when you're that wrong, it's better to just act like you're privy to knowledge no one else is rather than just say admit you're wrong...
  8. Or "some players eat, while other just play with their food!" Actually, I feel like the receiving core will be better and starting to click more each coming game...
  9. Teams have 8 slots to IR a player and bring them back after a minimum of 4 weeks out. Once the 4 weeks or anytime thereafter, are up they can open a 21 day practice window to get the player back on the roster. If that doesnt happen within the 21 days, the player will be out for the remainder of the season. I hope that makes sense
  10. I agree with spot foul. If I'm a DB and a WR has me beat over 15 yards, I'd definitely foul him if he's only going to get 15 yards.
  11. Absolutely beautiful woman. The Family Stone is one of my recurring watches. RIP.
  12. I don't think there's any bending of the rules here. Sanders was fully going until last week when it was reported he had a knee injury and now he had to get surgery. I highly doubt they're choosing to get unnecessary surgery on their high 2nd Round Pick and voluntarily upending his development just to fit Larry Ogunjobi on the roster. As for Hairston, they're clearly being overly cautious with him. They don't want to give him a full load, even in practice until he's fully healthy.
  13. Patricia was such an upgrade. Watching Knowles and Penn St. fail brings a smile to my face.
  14. What we learned today (but we already knew): Curt Cignetti = good, James Franklin = bad
  15. IR used to mean a player was out for the season. I heard now it means the player will be out longer than 4 games? I’m uncertain of what the rules are
  16. Raptors fired Casey and immediately won a title. Bucs fired Dungy. Eagles fired Reid. All of those teams won a title. There have been several instances where a team got a new HC to put them over the top. And sometimes a HC needs a change too.
  17. Need this defense to figure itself out in the next 7 weeks
  18. Last week: Stefon Diggs returns to Buffalo. This week: Zion Logue returns to Atlanta!
  19. Knowles 😭
  20. I really hope Hoecht and Ogunjobi aren’t a couple of JAGS. A lot of hopes and dreams riding on these guys to right the ship on D. Not so sure they’ll be the cure.
  21. We are so thin in the secondary, especially considering the dialogue around the roster depth during TC.
  22. he'll briefly be a Tight End, only to transition to Wide Receiver
  23. Good point on O gun taking sanders spot and just having an elevation for this weekend (Mathis or Phillips). Hoecht coming back would mean 6 DEs but I suppose with only 4 DTs and 1 fewer S they could make it work. Boy are they thin in the secondary.
  24. Sanders getting hurt saves Ogunjobi from getting cut. When did Hamlin get hurt? What is the injury?
  25. I enjoy college football more than pro ball at this point. The Bills are the only thing that keep me interested. It’s closer to the form of football I grew up appreciating. The NFL seems more in the entertainment/story line business. I just wish there were more relevant teams in the northeast, creating better fan interest in these parts. Water cooler football talk is always fun, but you don’t get it with college football up here. That’s another factor why I still keep up with the NFL.
