  1. Past hour
  2. They kept 9 OL last year. I can't see them wanting to let any of those 9 go, especially when the rules require you have to have 8 up on gameday. They kept 5 linebackers (some years have kept 6) and again because of what you need for special teams I don't see a world where keeping only 4 makes sense. They will keep: 2 QBs, 1 FB, 3 RBs, 5 WRs, 3 TEs, 9 OL, 8 DL, 5 LBs, 9 DBs, 3 STs - as a minimum. That gets you to 48. I think it leaves you 5 spots to allocate between WR, DL, DB and any wildcard you don't want to lose at another spot.
  3. Hands up all who immediately thought of this:
  4. Let’s be real here. The real story here is your use of the word Magnanimous.
  5. Omg!!! 😂😂😂 I swear to God , that Franchise could F up a wet dream.
  6. I find most press conferences filled with at least 50% of ridiculously stupid questions. It's as if the reporters need to justify their press pass access when they've got nothing interesting to report. I love the questions that are framed with "how happy were you....?", or "how satisfying was it to....?" or "how disappointed were you...?" ...As if there's a standard emotional metric that can be used for statistical analysis. Rarely do they inquired about actual strategy or techniques used to counter the other team. IMO, Maddy is no better or worse than the typical Bills beat reporter.
  7. He's too skinny that can't see him.
  8. He looked good in practice while he was here, too. It was either last year or the one before he was getting the majority of reps with the 1s (ahead of Benford) and looked to be on track to be the week 1 starter. Then Benford passed him at the last minute and everyone was confused. Let's see him in live game reps. I hope he does well. But some guys shine in practice then flop on game day.
  9. I’ll start with the end in mind and work backwards…I agree that the current model is inefficient (and a reminder, it’s exactly what the govt planned it to be), and to be completely candid have no idea if it’s over-priced or not. Who can tell? It’s a highly regulated industry with generations of political fingerprints all over it, the well-intentioned, the apathetic and monetarily influenced alike. Much is made of ins cos lobbying, but let’s be fair and acknowledge the medical industry (docs, hospitals, clinics, phlebotomists, device manufacturers et al) is dollars deep in directing and controlling and virtually all want as large a slice of the pie as they can get. My preferred options would be a continuation of the govt-private industry model with an eye toward sensible regulation, sensible cost-control and all stakeholders thriving especially patients. My biggest issue with the govt model is that politicians seek political answers to math problems time and time again. Back when ACA was being pimped, substantial hubbub arose over coverage for “pre-existing conditions”. While there were abuses in the regulatory side (quick reminder, the state/federal government established the rules to follow there), there were many individuals who actively and intentionally forewent health insurance to save premium, only to seek it out when they needed it. That’s sad, but avoidable on a personal level. Bottom line, all these programs can work if the math is right, but the math never works out to free (and I understand that’s not your suggestion here). So, govt-private alliance, the bureaucrats working out sensible rules and guidelines, sensible cost controls for routine procedures, private companies seeking out new and efficient ways to offer services on a national level. Healthier people should earn better premiums, higher risk individuals should expect a higher commensurate premium with limitations on premium changes once a health issue occurs. As always, a safety net should be in place with tight regulation and stiff penalties for those who abuse the system.
  10. Wilkins, if hes healthy and motivated, seems exactly like a guy Vrabel would want. i dont want Wilkins anywhere near the AFCE. not because i think hes great, because i think hes a cheap shot artist. dont want that twice a year vs JA17.
  11. Tasker became a Bills legend as the gunner and developed into a useful WR.
  12. Elam specializes in early training camp activities without pads. Means zero and his subtraction is an addition to our roster. Bad 1st rd. pick, rear view mirror.
  13. I have a Joey Bosa question, in 2018 he had a foot injury, in 2021 he had an undisclosed injury and in 2022 he had a groin injury that required surgery. What went on the last couple of years? He has been limited in team drills so far, is there some lingering issue with the groin? It’s not like he had a knee or Achilles injury.
  14. "we ain't talking 'bout a game, we talking about practice.....practice"
  15. And, if the B-Man's gibberish of the non-cartoon variety was true, one would think there would be no issue with releasing the Epstein files.
  16. Uhhh... the Browns helmet reveal??? 😀 He's no Jaxon Dart... is your crystal ball filled with ayahuasca?
  17. In practice, yes.
  18. DT Christian Wilkins released by raiders
  19. Looking into my crystal ball; Mahomes goes down-out for the season, TJ Watt decides to leave camp and holdout for more dough, Keon separates and catches 6 TD passes today. Those are the highlights
  20. Mitch Morse is one of the talking heads on GMFB this morning. Miss that dude.
  21. It's interesting to think about the total of NIL money versus the total of UFL money.
  22. I think I saw Aaron Rodgers first pass as a Steeler was picked off
  23. Kaiir is a FANTASTIC human being. It didn’t work out here for a variety of reasons. It just wasn’t a good fit. I wish him nothing but the best in Dallas and hope that he becomes a star.
  24. You can add Geno to that as well. We’ve seen some guys, with talent, fall out of favor, and catch on elsewhere. I’m not saying Fields will be Josh, or even Baker, but can be Darnold. He was more of a journeyman when he got his break. There are a handful of other guys that could break through with the right opportunity like Darnold and Baker did (Fields, Zach Wilson, Joe Milton, Daniel Jones, Mac Jones). To be clear, I’m not projecting any of these guys to be great or to do that. I do think, with an opportunity, it’s possible that any of them could turn in a Darnold type of season and land a deal similar to his. If the Fields injury isn’t that bad (he appears fine), he looks like the one to get the chance now (maybe Daniel Jones too).
  25. Not really, but feel free to post any tweet or article for something else to discuss! This and the Justin Fields toe injury kinda dominated the internet yesterday. Let's see what today brings!
