  1. Past hour
  2. Groot's got a bone bruise. They're saying it's from the Ravens game. He's not playing the way he will when he's better. Ahhh, Dave McBride already posted it. Thanks, Dave.
  3. I have stuff to do, then will go road cycling for hours, and so on. I realized that in the recent past, and certainly during all the drought, I watched a LOT of NFL games besides the Bills. As of now, I barely care about any other games. I did watch the opener but today I might not see any football and I'm fine with it. I'd never miss the Bills though!
  4. Taking the nephew on a college tour... Iowa State, University of Minnesota, University of Wisconsin/LaCrosse. Awaiting departure... flying American.
  5. I have no problem with utilizing our timeouts to try and double dip before the halftime IF the situation is right. But the situation was not right. I agree the defense let us down in that situation. But our entire gameplan was to play a grind-it-out possession game, and in a close game with a struggling Miami offense just outside the redzone with about a minute to go, you don't start handing them timeouts and chances to catch their breath and plan their next plays. For me, you let them spend their resources first, let the clock pressure a struggling offense as much as possible and see how things play out. As Simon mentioned, if they quickly get it to a first and goal situation, then you can try to preserve Josh an opportunity. Otherwise, pressure them with the clock to preserve a lead. Instead, you gave a struggling team hope and additional motivation as handing them extra time outs up-front bordered on arrogance. Complementary football. Every coach likes to discuss it, but they never include the coaching in that. It was disappointing to me we never took advantage when their secondary took two more hits or pressured the O-line more right out of the gate. Tua was holding the ball too long at the outset but they found their rhythm in-part thanks to our conservative defense. It put more pressure on Cook and the running game and took away opportunities for our receivers to hone their game against a very weakened secondary. And it again demonstrates a lack of situational coaching/gameplanning. Which is a big part of what ends our playoff runs. I can only pray that this improves as our defense gains confidence and consistency.
  6. No food? I mean ok... Quiet day. My wife is an Eagles fan so we'll have that on until my son gets bored (we are competing for that fandom). Maybe head up to the Little League field It's nice to have a stress free lazy Sunday
  7. Talk about a crap MNF game
  8. Running a chicken bbq fundraiser at my firehall, followed by hopefully taking the boat out for a sunset cruise, with the sad reality that it might be the last time this season
  9. Finally get some stuff done around the house. Wife and daughter are going to Downton Abbey today. Took the grandson to see "Him" last night...its good but messed up lol. Got the garage gym mostly rebuilt so a workout is on tap.
  10. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6643448/2025/09/19/bills-dolphins-tnf-josh-allen/ “Bosa had an outstanding game against the Jets, and with fellow starter Greg Rousseau dealing with a bone bruise on his knee from the Ravens game, Bosa — at least in the short-term — has become their most trusted asset.” He was limited in practice the last couple of weeks.
  11. Football!, at least later. It is a nice day, after all, so a long outside workout first. Hard to get excited to watch the Bills' competition in the AFC on days the Bills are playing. And scouting the competition is always my priority after the Bills. So i can then get on here, and say my piece, knowing Beane and McDermott will be reading it soon. With no game, hopefully today, in real time, so they can start implementing the changes I call for to beat these sorry teams. On days like this I can relax and take it in better, focus more, secure that my team has already notched their win and is 3-0. Obviously, the chefs and Giants tonight. A loss here and they are no longer a viable threat in the AFC, at least for now. Broncos at Chargers, next of interest, and Steelers at patriots.
  12. Mike, I just don’t think it is impossible for the Giants to win tonight. There is fight in that dog.
  13. The only game I'm excited for is Ravens-Chiefs Eagles/Bucs should be good and I think Colts/Rams will be a sneaky good game
  14. It was actually the full game outside of the 1st drive. And ya I'm going to judge them what they do in the playoffs, not the regular season. The "floor" will always be higher with the power game approach. It's the "ceiling" I'm worried about , and we saw the limitations first hand in the playoffs last year I was referring to the playoff game last year against them
  15. i gotta tell you I got an eye on that one, as well. I know about both teams and yet I still really can’t say one way or the other. also focusing on broncos/chargers, Bengals/Minny, obviously ravens lions tomorrow and also whether the Colts are going to keep winning. …and even if it is not likely I think the Giants could beat the Chiefs tonight.
  16. The season he was injured most of the year, the Titans actually earned the #1 seed in the AFC. From what I remember, during his first two years as a backup he was reported to be on the trading block. Titans were looking for a day 3 pick for him. No one jumped. Then he had to start due to injury and popped off a huge game on national TV and the rest is history.
  17. Openly corrupt with the MAGA crowd happy their leaders are corrupt
  18. Yes you are the fins are not going to burn their own clock once it gets in the 30 sec range they will use there time outs . You then can use them depending on down and distance to save time or keep them to attempt to get a FG. Having three gives you a chance to save clock once you use one you lose all clock control power because they can run it down no matter what
  19. The 4th down tip pass for Keon td was THE most improbable as well
  20. Josh needs to throw a few more touchdown passes to himself.
