I'm not sure what's changed in the past few years with regard to his voice and energy levels, but... My wife and I went to see Paul a few years ago and the show was OUTSTANDING. He played several hours with no break. He played bass, guitar, piano, and obviously sang throughout. He played everything you'd want to hear from the Beatles and Wings. The show was everything I wanted it to be. I actually was in disbelief for much of it. I kept looking up at the stage and thinking "That's a ***** BEATLE UP THERE!!!". Not someone else covering Beatles songs, but an actual Beatle! It boggled the mind. Definitely go see him if you haven't and are a Beatles fan. The guy won't tour forever. It's a bucket list item. Price be damned. Just do it.

Beatles fans are mostly drinking their dinners through a straw and watching re-runs of “Dallas” after craft time, correct?

Were there ever years you were disinterested in the Bills?
Bill from NYC replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Never. The Bills and this board have been with me through great and bad events of my life. I appreciate both, whereas they have both been important to me. One moderator despised me, another dislikes me but tolerates me, and I appreciate this. What I have been able to learn is to be better at handling the horrible losses. I have even come to expect it, but thats ok. Tell me, am I the only poster who suspected that we would lose the 13 second game? I'm saying NO WAY! Things like the (overated) Stevie Johnson dropping the best pass of Fitz's career prepared me for horror stories. The only thing that still gets to me is the focus on the secondary, despite other more important needs. I'm even better with that because I know damn well it will happen again and again and its beyond my control. Many, many years ago (perhaps even 20 years), @SDS posted that he is a bigger fan of Bills Fans than the Bills. I never forgot this post and I agree with hm. To give up on the Bills would be to also give up on the friends I have made from this board and tailgated with, and I can't do it. GO BILLS!!!!!!!! OUR DAY WILL COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
I don't understand posts like this. I have no objection to players being fairly compensated, but I am a fan on THE TEAM. The salary cap is real. Overpaying and guaranteed contracts are generally onerous on the cap, and hurts the chances of signing additional players. Yes, it's a bit unfair for some of these payers but it protects THE TEAM. That's good right? The league needs protection from nutcases like Jimmy Haslem, ruining his franchise for years with the Deshean Watson contract, which is what a large, guaranteed contract could do to a team.

The NFLPA Is Becoming A Sham Organization
Billy Claude replied to BillsVet's topic in The Stadium Wall
The players do have a problem with the NFLPA leadership. They ousted the previous president of the NFLPA, DeMaurice Smith for giving away too much to the NFL during the last contract negotiations in 2023 and they don't seem to be too happy with the new one also. I would be surprise if he is also ousted when his contract runs out. Like I said before, they should have gotten a lot more for agreeing to go to a 17th game. -
