Doubt the NFL would be interested. Probably more profitable to grant an expansion team to Toronto and Vancouver and collect the associated fees. IMO they are trying to have it look more like American Football so more Americans will want to watch it on TV.

Very happy to see the return of Broeker. Though not a plus athlete he clearly understand offensive line play... he can play both guard and tackle... probably a 4 position guy. With the impending free agency of McGovern and Edwards, Broeker could be a starter some day for this team.

Still a ways out from this game, but the random thought I just had was that if I had to guess, Landon Jackson gets a jersey Sunday. Perceived easier opponent and McDermott saying that he was close to getting one last week has me thinking they will take this opportunity to see where he's at in his development. Add in the fact that Bosa can't play nearly the snaps he did last week, I think it might be a good time to see what he has at this point. I'm not expecting much from him this year, especially early, but any reps are good reps at this point so he can learn on the job a bit. I have more hope seeing improvement from him next season than this yea, but I guess you never know. He strikes me a guy that will always give max effort and will work on his game, but he's very raw. But, that said, I do want him to get a handful of reps sometime soon.

Beane does not get enough credit (by me and others) for what he has done to build the line. It was a mess when Allen was a rookie but it is now really good, and they have depth, plus a top tier line coach.

I'm beginning to see this as a pretty decent win. ABC relented to the court of public opinion.
