The did not use there 1st round pick to get Coleman, he was selected in the 2nd! They traded the 1st to improve 2 other picks and then traded again to improve another. The improvement of the 3 picks was pretty big, moving up 60, 38 and 26 spots. So to say they used a #1 on him is not really accurate.

That's where they likely had a group of WRs they liked and would take any of them. So they traded down twice and took Coleman. Basically, they settled for whatever was leftover and we see how that ended up. Beane needs to identify his Vontae Mack and get him no matter what.
