Seems like Edmonton never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity. They really had a chance to take control of this series at home, and they laid an egg!! Indiana blowing Game 4 in the NBA finals, and Edmonton losing Game 5 in the Stanley Cup finals could prove costly for both teams, IMO.

The American Media Should Not Be Trusted

This is the opinion of all too many leftists. Eventually, the other 50 will meet them at gun point and then they will come to a more full understanding. - Today

agree with all but the last part. Here in Pgh most are weary of Rodgers. Malkin should have been traded years ago. Too late now

I will say this. If ...and it's a big if, the ol of Pittsburgh can keep Rodger upright they will be a tough out. Rodgers can still read a defense and still has the arm to make all the throws. His negative is his body isn't getting any younger and he is a statue in the pocket. I am not laughing with this signing like some. He is still a good QB but his ego is intolerable. Which is why we all want him to fail. But, he honestly fits right in with all the Steelers fans I know.

The whole vibe around the army parade is a bit weird. I have mixed feelings about it all. Cheering people driving deadly war machines is’nt an American tradition, although we use those machines to do plenty of killing. We all know the death and pain those machines inflict. We still have bad memories of Iraq. Plenty of Americans and innocent civilians died there. Trump himself ran on keeping us out of stupid wars and disapproval of all the money and lives wasted there. Trump sending Guard troops into LA against the wishes of the state is another weird part of it all, along with his admiration for dictators. On the other hand, 250 is a significant anniversary for the Army. We all should be proud of that. The whole event seems a bit Ho-hum and tomorrow we will be on to other more significant things.

I think we’re close on opinion and just talking past each other. We only have the OTA data to go on. It’s poor because small sample size and least meaningful reps. But from this data I put more stock in the fact that Tre is only playing with the ones than he’s not playing well. I am not at all saying he’s safe for September. I’m saying playing with ones is more important than playing poorly. If he keeps playing poorly with ones I think he makes the team cause who you play with matters more than how you play (I think this is a Brucism). So maybe we’re talking about continuing on the same path differently. You presumably mean badly and against other players and I mean badly with the ones. But if you think he gets cut playing badly with the ones into TC then we’ll have to see if the situation arises. Otherwise we agree on the outcomes. Plays better with ones and makes the team or plays badly with second string and is cut.

Very fair list. Some of these guys I was too young to appreciate but I agree that Bruce is hands down the best on the field player ever. A dominant 3-4 DE that was a nightmare for a whole OL. I am very critical of our DE today but I was spoiled too learn and watch the game with such an elite player.

RB and WR markets are actually insane.

Does James Cook project as a guy who will physically hold up with a higher enough workload to justify the big extension he seeks, year after year? Does he project as a guy who will dramatically step up his pass pro reads and physicality so he can stay on the field enough to justify the $$? Will he continue to improve the concentration issues: unforced drops and ball security concerns? Lots of questions. The bolded is the core of this debate. In 2026, is a RB room taking up ~15M cap (Cook on a reasonable, friendlyish first year of his extension, plus Davis and Johnson) that much better than a room taking up ~$6M (Davis, Johnson, and day 2/3 rookie)? Maybe Johnson is gone in this scenario? Not to mention how Cook progresses and what they owe him in future years; Cook's number would have to count more fully against the cap eventually, and that could be about when he's already breaking down or falling off. His brother didn't last long into his 2nd deal, as we all know. Less mileage on this Cook, though. It's a fascinating question. I think I know Beane's most likely answer. -

If you are making a list of all-time great Bills you have to start with the guys in the HOF. There are 7 primarily Bills in the HOF - Smith, Kelly, Thomas, Reed, OJ, Joe D, and Billy Shaw. From the AFL Bills you have Dubenion, Edgerson, Kemp, Sestak, Stratton (LB), Saimes, Byrd and Gilchrest From the Kelly ERA Bills you have Bennett, Talley, Tasker, Ritcher and Hull From the recent Bills you have Poyer, Hyde, Dawkins, Spencer Brown, Diggs and of course Allen From other eras you have Smerlas, Wood, Hansen, Moulds, Rueben Brown, Kyle Williams and maybe some others. 1. Bruce Smith 2. OJ Simpson 3. Billy Shaw 4. Kelly 5. Joe D 6. Josh Allen 7. Thomas 8. Reed 9. Hull 10. Kemp 11. Sestak 12. K Williams 13. Talley 14. Moulds 15. Minnesota lawmaker assassinated another shot.
B-Man replied to 4th&long's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It was speculated a few pages back that this was a Black-flag to blame MAGA gone wrong, leaving witnesses. So here comes the transparent attempt to shore that fake narrative up. Minnesota does not even have party registration. Same "best friend" The roommate tells FOX 9 he has known Boelter for more than 40 years, since the fourth grade and didn't express a lot of strong political views. He did, however, have strong views on abortion. Authorities also found receipts for items used in Saturday morning's shootings in one of his vehicles at the Minneapolis home. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2025/06/14/mn-dem-shooting-suspects-wife-might-also-have-ties-to-tim-walz-n2658819 -

1994 - Kelly & Reed vs Favre & Sharpe - NFL Throwback
Walking Tall replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tampa….but Tampa didn’t play in Buffalo the first 33 years of their existence. Also, the Cardinals never won at the Bills current stadium. But they did win one at War Memorial.
