Bills/Ravens/Eagles Super Bowl Favorites
Augie replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
As he said, it’s razor thin. It could be as simple as Benford getting knocked out of the game so early. We all watched the draft. The last few years we seem to be out of bodies on defense by the time the playoffs come around. Hopefully we have addressed that adequately. -

Better defense and/or executing in the clutch (both on the field and coaching). -

Maxwell Hairston named in civil lawsuit for sexual assault

I’m just checking in on this thread because I saw Delete_Delete_Delete was here, and I got my hopes up! I think this thread would benefit from some of that. -
Says somebody who’s clearly been a victim of sexual assault… Food for thought, quick google search says about 7 in 1000 rapes actually results in a conviction. Also, estimates suggest 1 in 6 women have been a victim of SA, or attempted SA. Think about how many women y’all have in your lives, and do the math. Then think about how you’d want them to be treated, considering how incredibly hard it is to get a criminal conviction on SA even when it is reported. Approximately 28% of SA are actually reported to authorities and this trickles down to a paltry (less than) FOUR % conviction rate according to NBC news as of this year… So all these people speaking in absolutes about her “money grabbing” or whatever, stuff like that is part of the reason a large number of these crimes go unreported in the first place, immediate victim shaming without having ANY details. Best to just have no opinion rather swerve way outside your lane recklessly. Nobody knows the accuser, knows the situation, and you wouldn’t give a flying 747 about any of it, if the guy didn’t have a bleeding buffalo on the side of his helmet.

"some are more equal than others". I read that somewhere. and no, everybody that could get out of it didn't. don't be stupid. you know better. If I remember correctly, John Kerry was there...So were many other that could have pulled strings but actually had a conscience. https://www.history.com/articles/famous-american-vietnam-vets John McCain and Colin Powell are fools to maga's like you... good for you that you paid your respects. very impactful.

Makes you realize how much the current stadium is under ground. Looks like a high school stadium compared to the new one -

Chiefs will win the West. I think they are better this year than last. -
Brandon Beane "might be the most sensitive GM in the entire NFL"?
Doc Brown replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Any Trubisky truthers at the time? You'd have to be equally critical of every other team in the league who either passed on him or didn't trade up for him unless they already had an elite QB on the roster. I was still on the old board at that point but I'll take your word for being on the Mahomes train. What really spins my head is if the Bills did select Mahomes and then fired Whaley it would be even weirder than when he was actually fired. If Beane was GM when McDermott was hired, would he have showed the same aggressiveness in getting Mahomes that he did in getting Allen? I think just moving up to draft Allen by default makes it his best year as GM here. There wasn't any other off-season that stood out to me as just a stellar job across the board. Getting a 2nd for Watkins (not popular with the fan base), a 3rd for Tyrod, and trading Glenn to move from #21 to #12 in the draft were all good moves considering McDermott just had to get the luckiest 9-7 record of all time in 2017 so we needed as much ammo as possible to trade up for a QB. No disagreement with the awfulness of the free agency draft class though. I struggle with the Edmunds pick because I loved the prospect but I hate moving up in the first round for anybody but a QB. -
