The annual QB tier rankings from The Athletic

this is a made up stat, as is yours unfortunately for example we lost to the bengals in the playoffs and ravens last year by more than one score -
2023 kind of lived up to its reputation as a poor draft class, yeah? You wish we would have traded up for Addison or drafted LaPorta over Kincaid, other than that there isn't anything that sticks out with our 1st pick. Looking through the 2nd and 3rd round not a lot of game changers in there. All things considered Torrence was a pretty solid pick as a good starting RG considering the other players drafted in his range. Day 3 was a complete bust for the entire NFL, at least based on early returns. Still too early to fully evaluate the class but looks like most teams came away with maybe 1 franchise player, 2 at the very most.

The next priority on this team is McGovern. I don’t understand why people don’t believe it can be done. Knox has a 17 mill cap hit. They aren’t going to stay at that number. Knox is getting released or taking a big pay cut. Like in the 6-7 million range or we save 9 on cutting him. Samuel is not going to be here next year and that’s another 6.5. That’s 13 million without any restructures or other cuts etc. There is money for McGovern if they want to get it done. It’s Edwards who I think is gone but one of the 2 will be back next year

It’s actually better for 4 years with 30M for cap purposes. I don’t love the deal, I don’t think he’s THAT good, but on a team with next to zero high end talent in the O, he’s valuable. I agree, shorter would be more ideal from a sense of being able to move on, but I’m going to guess that a lot of the money is in signing bonus so he gets paid now and the cap hit gets spread out over 4 years.

That lady just can't stop crying... She'll only get worse as the year goes on too...

Cook always looks that way. That doesn't mean he is or ever has been stoned, but yes, it does look that way. I'm neutral on cannabis (have and still occasionally imbibe). It wouldn't work for me to go through life in that state constantly, but I know many true stoners that have absolutely excelled throughout their academic and professional careers (finance, law, engineering, etc.). At the end of the day, perform like 2024 James Cook and I really don't give a crap how high you are.

Burrow being in the "top 4" kind of reminds me of how Paul Pierce tried to get himself into the GOAT discussion with MJ, Kobe, and LeBron. -
Again, this is all by design. If they let criminals prey on society for long enough, suddenly socialist/communist "solutions" look like a viable alternative. Destabilization. Once you realize that everything the left is doing is in support of the revolution and not just a series of unrelated oh the world has gone insane anecdotes, then these stories aren't WTF moments anymore. That's why they let in 10 million unvetted illegals while insisting that the border was secure. It's all by design.

There was one play hoping someone can find or rememeber. I was in NYC (actually New Jersey) watching the Bills dont recall Jets or Giants, Tasker is the punt returner, as he was catching the ball he gets walloped. Now that would be an easy penalty but not back then. Not only did he not fumble he immediately popped back one, one of the toughest player reaction I had ever seen, like Moorman reaction after the Sean Taylor hit in the Pro Bowl. Those were the days.

and Dawkins for that matter LOL...

I'm actually surprised he didn't get $12.5 just to be ahead of Kamara/Jacobs. But I guess the Gtd money is what's important. Nice, fair deal all around.

I don’t doubt he’s trying to get better. But I also heard a story about running other coverages more when they drafted Kaiir. We’ll see if he succeeds.

Chop Robinson carted off the practice field for Miami. Potentially a very big loss for them. https://www.palmbeachpost.com/story/sports/nfl/dolphins/2025/08/13/miami-dolphins-chop-robinson-injured-detroit-lions/85641775007/ -
LET'S GO BOYS!!!!!

Well I'm certainly glad to hear Ed will eat. He definitely would not have the energy to produce on the field if he went on a hunger strike. At least he won't slim down like Kincaid. This is fantastic news!

Can't execute one... can't stop one.

"Below average run blocker" is another feather in the "reasons not to pay a running back big money" cap.
