  3. Yea I lean towards 'Bama being out. They could lose last night and make it. They couldn't lose like that and make it. They are a 3 loss team, with two wins over top 25 teams (Vandy and regular season Georgia) and one loss to a non-top 25 in FSU. That is a pretty similar resume to Texas who we all agree are out. 3 loss team, who have three wins over top 25 teams (Vandy, Oklahoma, Texas A&M) and one loss to a non-top 25 team in Florida. The one thing 'Bama had was "reached conference final" but they got whacked in it. Bama and BYU drop out for the two Conference Champ spots to go to Tulane and JMU.
  4. Pats game we moved the ball well even in spite of getting hammered with a ton of penalty yards and Kincaid had over 100 receiving yards. that game gets lumped in with Atlanta/miami but it didn’t really have that vibe to me. NE was more just shooting ourselves in the foot with penalties/turnovers The only real ugly game Kincaid played in was Miami and he missed almost a half
  5. He seemed fine at the beginning of the season before he got hurt. Did you have these realizations before the injury? Since coming back from the injury he clearly isn’t 100%. He’s not running like he normally does, and his passing hasn’t been as good either, and I wonder if maybe teams know he won’t be running the same, and so can take away the pass that much more.
  6. The problem isn't your rule of thumb. It is that you underrate Dak.
  7. I mean of course I don't know what is spin and PR but the official line is it meets all of the NFL's highest safety standards. The injury record suggests otherwise.
  8. What are you even talking about here? Your position seems to shift every time the actual data comes up. You started by saying the Bills have a bad pass blocking O-line, and now we are sort of implying the offense is struggling because of the O-line? Is that really where you want to plant your flag? Because if we are sticking to facts, the things that do not move around mid argument, the Bills O-line ranked 5th in the NFL in pass block win rate last year, 2024. Fifth. That is the definition of elite relative to the rest of the league. So yes, the data is very clearly contradicting your narrative, whether you feel like the line was good or not. What you keep doing is conflating offensive results with offensive line performance, and that is honestly wild. The offense can dip for a hundred reasons, QB play, WR talent, play calling, injuries, defensive adjustments, and none of that automatically traces back to the O-line. Same players as last year does not magically mean same offensive production, and pretending it does is just lazy analysis. We also used way more 6 lineman sets last year, and Hawes reduces that need this season. That changes the entire structure of protection. So does TE usage, motion, and route concepts. If your argument depends on ignoring all of that nuance, that says a lot. Let’s talk about Joe Brady, since somehow that part keeps getting ignored. Take the Houston game, which seems like the source of your O-line trauma. Houston was teeing off on Allen while we stuck with five blockers and minimal TE help. No adjustments. No chips. No shifting to heavier protections like last year. That is not an O-line talent issue, that is a coaching and scheme decision. Pure stubbornness. And let’s not pretend WR personnel does not matter. Last year we traded for Amari. He did not light up the stat sheet, but defenses respected him. That alone changes spacing. This year we do not have that luxury. So yes, something is going on with the passing game, but the most logical place to look is Brady and the overall offensive design, not an O-line that continues to grade out extremely well. I am genuinely confused why that is so hard for you to acknowledge. Let me put it plainly: Do you honestly believe the passing game struggles have more to do with the O-line than Joe Brady? Lastly, your point about Josh’s scrambling lowering sack numbers is true, but that is true of every mobile QB. Yet even adjusting for that, the Bills allowed some of the lowest sack totals in the league last year. At some point, the credit goes where it belongs. But if you want to keep insisting the O-line is the problem while the actual evidence keeps screaming the opposite, go ahead. Just do not expect everyone else to abandon reality with you.
  9. This is the greatest turnaround in college football history What cignetti has done in two seasons is truly amazing Whether they finish off the Cinderella or not this is already truly an amazing accomplishment If they run the table it is the greatest sports events since miracle on ice and Hoosier football fans I'm really happy for them
  10. “but he’s great against the run” “but who are we gonna hire” these are exactly the mindsets that keep a team exactly where they want to be at.
  11. Was also there. Supremely disconcerting to see the road team come in better prepared for on-field conditions, among other things. That game was an inevitable reckoning...the obvious conclusion to such an oddly frustrating, exhausting season for the team collectively and individually, almost as if the specter of 13 seconds had caused a hangover typically felt by SB losers. And they still won 13 games. But Allen had 14 interceptions and 13 fumbles (of which HE recovered 5...not sure how many were in fact turnovers). Something changed right before halftime of that GB Halloween game. Most likely a concussion for Allen, on top of whatever else was going on for him off the field. The vibe was way off that season. Cinci was just the better team.
  12. Live cam of Kincaid’s latest practice walk-thru sesh…just can’t keep the man out of the fight! 🤷
  13. Couldn't tell but did DK say "pew pew"? if so, 10k more should be added. No tolerance for sound effects with the finger gun.
  14. I was at that game. Ugh. And then some Bills players saying they weren't prepared and were slipping. Wrong shoes and such. That made it worse.
  15. No splash plays tonight vs Ohio State, but he was all over the field in pass coverage, and was responsible for getting the D into the right plays/audibles against what is essentially an NFL Offense. This guy could be a future Milano(the healthy version), and could be had in the Milano draft range (4th-5th round).....get 'er done, McBeane!!
  16. I have to say the Bucks fans were graceful in defeat. They were sad, but were calculating that they’d still get a buy. It was such a well played hard hitting struggle between the two best defenses in college football. IU’s offense had better balance and that was probably the difference.
  17. I was in Indy for the game. The crowd and the game was electric. The fans went crazy as the clocked ticked to zero. I can’t wipe the smile off my face. I managed to catch some of the UGA demolition of Bama at a hotel bar near Lucas Oil field. What an incredible sports day. Hopefully the Bills tomorrow make it 3 for 3. When I was a student, tonight was something I never believed would or could happen. Thx Cig! The OSU fans took the loss with a great deal of grace and kindness. Also thanks to everyone for their kind words about my Hoosiers. FYI first Big 10 outright champion for IU since 1945. First undefeated regular season. 1st appearance and win in the Big 10 championship game. First time to be ranked No. 1 in AP poll history. Best news for me is that my teams, IU and UGA can’t meet until the final if both make it.
  18. Considering James Madison just made it.... The committee has a really hard time.. now I understand Miami's had to head win against Notre Dame but I think Notre Dame is currently the better team I think Alabama did themselves no help today .. if anything they should be out
  19. If Miami and ND or one of them is left out that’s a crime.
