Something almost unfathomable... This is the 3rd straight Prime Time loss now, something the Bills and Allen typically have excelled at. -
Josh Allens career win rate is 68.6%, coming into the game we were 70% on the season, after the loss 63.6%. So not really, you can cherry pick the stats around wins and losses but we win around 2/3 of our games and have done so this season.

They would all be tolerable (Cook is a HR) if this team’s 2022-2024 drafts weren’t so awful. The 2025 class still TBD. What all-pro or just pro bowlers have we drafted since 2018 outside of Josh? How many have the legit SB contenders drafted? Thats the measuring stick. Not comparing us to every team - comparing us to the SB caliber Teams with SB rosters. That McD wouldn’t even call ours when he was asked.

Yes, so why not quick slants and more line blockers … 2 tight ends and Gilliam? I’m glad Josh is still walking. -

Good point. High school teams try to avoid doing this. I get if we're trying to milk the clock in protecting a lead but this is happening on almost every snap. It's like the Bills are trying to run out the clock from the get go, shorten the game and protect their defense. -

Who do you most blame for the current state of the Bills?
MPL replied to KentuckyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Me. It's my fault. I got a stupid accounting degree and then pivoted to a career as an ecommerce growth marketer instead of taking an unpaid internship with an NFL team, working my way up through the ranks, and finally, after sacrificing all of my personal time, social life, and developing crippling anxiety and an alcohol problem, landed a seat at the Buffalo Bills decision-makers table where I would say: "it's been over 5 years with McDermott and Allen. This isn't working. History says this isn't going to happen. We've got to make a change before it's too late." To which I would have been told: "lol. you're fired, kid." And then I would be right back here, where I am now, in my stupid tinfoil hat, with my accounting degree hanging crookedly on the wall behind me, hammering my keyboard about 5 YEARS! YOU ONLY GET 5 YEARS! -
beane gets fired and you are the new gm

Get some damn nasty kick-ass players. Tired of this soft team that folds every time they play a physical team. To hell with the Hapoy Days culture. -
Greg Rousseau has turned out to be a complete slug.
BADOLBILZ replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, that's the market for 8 sack guys who do little else. Rousseau isn't that. He's been the best run defending edge in the NFL since he arrived in the league and finished top 10 in the league in TFL last year. They just gotta' put something competitive on the other side. They haven't been able to do that. His $20M won't limit that. -
Babich gone immediately. They need a new face in the organization to tackle the defense. If Sean can't hand the reins over like that, then it's a decision to move on from him as well. Keep Brady at OC. He isn't terrible, he just has bad playcalling moments. I still think he is upper half of the league when it comes to offensive scheme and production. I'd like to get a DC who will be on the sidelines. Babich being upstairs annoys me, I think there are too many communication breakdowns as a result. Get a vet DC who has some proven success (maybe Schwartz if Cleveland clears house). If Sean goes, I may consider bringing in Jim Bob Cooter as HC purely for his amazing name. Or, I'd like college ranks to see if I can get a guy who has the emotions to match the needs of this team. Restructure Knox, let Edwards walk and have Grable fill. Keep McGovern. 2026 first if picking around 20 is either a package to move up for a WR, or draft a stud LB. I'd like to see if Coleman can develop into year 3. I give him another year. Come out of the draft and FA with a WR2 or WR1, starting LB, new Slot Corner. Figure out if Bosa will come back for a similar rate, or if we need to target another guy via trade or FA. Small adjustments to replace Milano/Johnson/Samuel/White for younger talent would help us immensely. There is talent on the roster, but we have bottom of the depth chart guys playing due to their career as opposed to their current talent level. DC needs to change though

Those percentages are generous with the defense playing like this.
-
The torch has been passed and the sooner that's recognized, the sooner we can stop doing the same thing over and over hoping for a better outcome. Burrow will be back. Bills don't win that game

The Bills started 3 drives from inside their own 10 yard line. This was a direct result of great Texan punting, Bills ST penalties and the famous McD bend but don't break D. The O was not the reason for the poor field position. The D turned it around AFTER giving up 20 points in the first half. And this was despite the fact that the D was going against a very bad offense with a backup QB. Meanwhile the Bills offense was going up against one of the best defenses in the NFL. The Bills have a BAD defense that was riddled with injuries. The Bills also have an average offense that was hampered by injuries. The only time the Bills offense is great is when Allen is playing at his best. And no human being can be at his best each and every game. Your post is a great example of a Bills fan nibbling around the edge of the problem. Sure in this specific game had the Bills O punched it in at the end they steal a win. But the problem is not the failure of the offense to execute at the very end. The problem is how the roster is structured and the basic design of the offense. It's as if the Bills brain trust has created an offensive concept that might be suitable for an average, limited QB and are trying to impose it on their uniquely talented once in a generation QB. Its football madness.

Optimistic take 2 out of 3 of us still billieve based on early polling.

Well let's look at this. Pitt- LOSS. We play bad against teams with Bad QB okay (who knows who the QB will be here) Bangles- LOSS. We play bad against them NE- LOSS. We play bad against any team Diggs is on. Cleveland- Back to the bad QB thing again and then add that we play bad against good defenses. Philly- LOSS- Great defense Jets- LOSS- I'll blame this one on the alternate uniforms.

McD is the root cause of all of this teams issues. Beane is a henchman to McDummy. Frankly they both need to go. Fire McD & Beane TODAY, fire Brady, demote Babich back to the secondary (or fire him outright), bring in Daboll as interim HC/OC (but do a REAL coaching search in the off-season and don't just hand the job to Daboll). Also bring in Frasier as DC and see if the shakeup can save this season. Standing pat is just going to end in the same disappointment, if not a major injury to Josh as Brady gets him killed with his brutal playcalls.
