Not earth shattering news, but Shadeur Sanders signs rookie contract.
JaBu replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's taking a huge "pay cut" as his NIL was much greater than that contract. -
It means he is 6 feet and 1.1 inches tall.

I think it was 31 teams as the Rams were in efff them picks mode with the Goff trade up the year before. It can get exhausting though but when you haven't drafted an elite, proven player besides Allen fans lose patience. Benford and Groot could become elite soon and some would argue that Benford already is. Bears kind of bet on traits too with that signing as him being only 24 who's only getting better was the pitch that Poles gave Bears fans. It's not hindsight when pretty much everyone on here agreed it was a massive overpay even though many were worried that he couldn't effectively be replaced. He definitely wasn't a whiff or a bust but if you trade up for a player in the first round that's not a primary position you expect him to be elite. McBeane were hoping for their Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly in that round. Luckily, the one they hit on (and then some) was the former or they might not have jobs right now. I disagree with Bernard at his best isn't close to Wagner who has been the golden standard imo for ILB's with his play over the last five seasons. I think both contracts were appropriate.

Lol that's fair. I forgot we technically added White at the end of the season so that we could call up more than one player from the PS for the Patriots game and then kept him on bc our roster had room. Outside of that scenario, we haven't kept more than 2 since the year we Drafted Fromm. So i'd expect 2. Just for shiz and gigs, this is my way too early 53 prediction. Going through the roster, I actually only see about 51 I'm sure about. I ended up adding Lewis and Ingram just bc there were two spots left over. I have Shenault beating out Codrington as a Returner, but that's a Wild Card/Hot Take. Players like Trubisky and Hamlin I see the Bills brass liking more than posters do. And with Trubisky v. White, they save relatively the same amount of money on a cut, but there's a 1m+ Dead Cap on Trubisky and no Dead Cap hit on White. QB: Josh Allen #17 Mitch Trubisky #11 RB: James Cook #4 Ray Davis #22 Ty Johnson #26 - Reggie Gilliam #41 WR: Khalil Shakir #10 Josh Palmer #5 Keon Coleman #0 Curtis Samuel #1 Elijah Moore #18 Laviska Shenault #15 (Returner) TE: Dalton Kincaid #86 Dawson Knox #88 Jackson Hawes #85 OL (Same as last year): Dion Dawkins #73 David Edwards #76 Connor McGovern #66 O'Cyrus Torrence #64 Spencer Brown #79 - Sedrick Van Pran-Granger #62 Ryan Van Demark #74 Alec Anderson #70 Tylan Grable #68 DE: Greg Rousseau #50 Joey Bosa #97 AJ Epenesa #57 Landon Jackson #94 Javon Solomon #56 DT: Ed Oliver #91 Daquan Jones #92 T.J. Sanders #98 Deone Walker #96 DeWayne Carter #90 LB (Same as last year): Matt Milano #58 Terrel Bernard #8 Dorian Williams #42 Edefuan Ulofoshio #48 Joe Andreeseen #41 CB: Christian Benford #47 Maxwell Hairston #31 Taron Johnson #7 (NCB) Tre'Davious White #27 Dorian Strong #43 Ja'Marcus Ingram #46 S: Taylor Rapp #9 Cole Bishop #24 Damar Hamlin #3 Jordan Hancock #37 (NCB/S) Cam Lewis #33 (NCB/S) ST: Tyler Bass #2 (K) Jake Camarda #32 (P) Reid Ferguson #69 (LS) But yeah... long story short, it's pretty simple to fit all 10 on the DL and carry extra DB's. What a guy! https://willowcenterny.org/

Bills signed WR Kristian Wilkerson
Sierra Foothills replied to Dunkirk Donski's topic in The Stadium Wall
Funny. I thought the photo screamed "short arms." 🙃 I saw elsewhere that he ran a 4.50 40 at his Pro Day but a 1.46 10 yard split which is elite. He's the 91st man on the roster and it's May 19th. Does that clear things up? Actually he had one good game. In week 16 of the 2021 season he caught 4 passes for 42 yards and 2 TDs playing for New England against Jacksonville. I thought it was a "shot across the bow." I don't know how old you are but I'm definitely calling him a young man. Now he's not Tremaine Edmunds young but who is? -
James Comey to be investigated for posting “8647”
reddogblitz replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
And my point sailed over yours evidently. For a cop I'm sure it would be nice if people didn't do things he has to investigate. That way he could hang around the office and eat doughnuts like Andy and Barn did. If it's too much trouble for him to investigate things maybe he should go back to his radio show. Dumb move by Stretch, but I don't feel sorry for Dan. -
Oh. Got ya. Thanks. The sole point of my existence is defending ex Bills players that left two years ago that I feel in any way got slighted.

Does anyone really have anything against Nantz? He is great. I can see complaining about Romo, but not Nantz. Not when there are so many that are so much worse than him. He has an iconic voice. Plus, he has great respect for Josh Allen as a person and a player. I'd take Nantz over almost anyone. But yes, Romo has gone sour. I liked him the first couple of years, but he has really gotten bad.

A candidate? Without question. Certainly a reasonable possibility, if he doesn't start playing more like the old Daquan. But keeping him is also a very reasonable possibility.

Finally saw it with the wife this past weekend. Kind of half great (build up, music and ancestor scene) and half meh (once it went full on From Dusk to Dawn through the denouement) but I'd recommend it for the music alone. Overall, cool movie and worth a watch. Delroy Lindo was especially good.

Cannabis consumption on track to overtake alcohol
US Egg replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in Off the Wall
Alcohol can lead to pot which can lead to hard drugs which can lead to heavier alcohol and drug use which can lead to legal problems, marital problems and worse…..so I’ve heard. -
I get that this is probably a joke about how people used to talk about how young he was, but at this point he's 27. Just sayin'.

routine PSA screening isn't recommended after age 70, partly because it's so prevalent. Partly because per population health measures it doesn't change mortality significantly. If you did post mortem ex's on all 100 yo would see almost 100% positives. Over 80, they're much more likely to die from something else. Biden is an exception but screening would likely not change anything, even in his case. https://www.uspreventiveservicestaskforce.org/uspstf/recommendation/prostate-cancer-screening. USPTFS guideline are adopted by medicare for reimbursement, or at least they were. Other recs are similar: The American Academy of Family Physicians39 and the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care40 recommend against PSA-based screening for prostate cancer. The American College of Physicians41 recommends that clinicians discuss the benefits and harms of screening with men aged 50 to 69 years and only recommends screening for men who prioritize screening and have a life expectancy of more than 10 to 15 years. The American Urological Association42 recommends that men aged 55 to 69 years with a life expectancy of more than 10 to 15 years be informed of the benefits and harms of screening and engage in shared decision making with their clinicians, taking into account each man’s values and preferences. It notes that to reduce the harms of screening, the screening interval should be 2 or more years. The American Urological Association also notes that decisions about screening, including potentially starting screening before age 55 years, should be individual ones for African American men and men with a family history of prostate cancer. The American Cancer Society43 adopted detailed screening recommendations in 2016 that highlight the importance of shared decision making and the need for informed discussion of the uncertainties, risks, and potential benefits of screening. It recommends conversations about screening beginning at age 50 years and earlier for African American men and men with a father or brother with a history of prostate cancer before age 65 years. there is no stage 9, but if there were bleach would surely cure it.

You asked, and they listened… (Bills on Hallmark)
DeepPass replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
A joke! Skydance Sports has inked an overall deal with the the NFL‘s biggest stars. The entertainment production studio says that it has signed 2024 NFL MVP Josh Allen to an overall deal, in which the Buffalo Bills quarterback will develop a slate of scripted, unscripted and branded content with the company. This movie will make Buffalo and the Bills look stupid!! -
who would want Epenesa & what would he bring in a trade? A 6th or 7th round pick MAYBE! Keep DeQuan this year and hopefully the kids learn from him - his good stuff!
