  1. Past hour
  2. I’m sitting on a beach in the middle of the offseason. What does Ned want to talk about? 🤷🏼‍♂️
  3. That I could get behind also, but ranking our OL would difficult because we have so many good ones.
  4. google: "buffalo offered first round draft pick to steelers for AB" oh now it's "or another"? lol--the reasons were not football skill related, nice try. anyway, if McD and the Bills locker room could keep Diggs's behavioral deficiencies (almost) under control for 3-4 seasons, don't you think they could have gotten a solid year or 2 out of AB?
  5. Mostly agree...if James was a true 3 down back with better blocking skills and the project-ability to be a 1500 yd rushing rb, then yes give him $15/yr on a 3 or extension. There are not 15-20 guys out there that can give you 18 tds in a season. But realistically he ranks around 5-7 in NFL Rb's. And based on current salaries, that puts him in the $10-12/yr range. That KC play (TD) did show an unbelievable level of heart. Obviously I'm very torn over this issue. I want him payed fairly based on his production. But not over-payed at the risk of losing that cap $ toward an actual capable pass rusher.
  6. As talented as the guy is, I personally don’t like his attitude and body language. Reminds me a lot of cam newton or aaron Rodgers, very off putting.
  7. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2025/06/bills-qb-josh-allen-had-rockstar-moment-at-wedding-hailee-steinfeld-says.html Now we know why we haven't seen much from the wedding - "No Cell Phones" An afterparty with a DJ, cigar bar, grilled cheese sandwiches and cookies with milk sounds like peak football wedding, though Snap you got there first.
  8. Are you sure it isn't the Trumpist position? No enforcement actions on restaurants (dishwashers), hotels (maids), farms (pickers)
  9. Last season, the worst offense in the entire league (Cleveland) averaged just over 15 points per game. The Bills defense allowed less than 15 points a total of six times. Last season, the offensive league average in points was around 22 points per game. The Bills defense allowed less than 22 points a total of ten times. We know the Bills defense underperforms badly in the postseason against the NFL's elite passers. But in the regular season, they don't play those guys very often. In the regular season, this defense is consistently a Top 5-10 unit. So if you just start with that side of the ball, it's totally reasonable to say this team could win about 8 games... assuming they get an average performance from the offense (as you stipulated). I will also remind everyone that Sean McDermott walked into the locker room and coached this team to a 9-7 record in his first year, with Tyrod Taylor at QB. Now would this team get an "average" offensive performance with Mitch Trubisky as the starting QB? Very unlikely.
  10. Find a college student that does not care about football, and use their email address to sign up for the student plan of ST.
  11. You could say whatever you want about his timed 40 time But he was the starting punt returner at Florida State... Schools like Florida State put their best athlete back there not guys who are in quicksand They put explosive guys who can break tackles and make people miss Then you see his explosion in the basketball game and you could see he is a very good athlete... He has a lot of explosion which will help his football game He has a lot of room to grow and become a really good football player
  12. Bloomberg, who was a Republican then, but more sensible than political.
  13. “Mom! He started it!!”
  14. No worries. What would be more interesting than the Top 15 players is everyone’s list of the best starting lineup at each position.
  15. It depends who the substitute QB is. If Allen goes down and Mitch Trubisky plays the whole season, it’s a different answer than plugging in a lower level NFL starter, like say Geno Smith or Brock Purdy. With those guys, 11 wins is possible. The Bills’ o-line is top 5, maybe top 2 or 3, in the NFL, and that raises the floor considerably…
  16. yeah what was this? there's no defender on his side of the court while he just dribbles up and dunks. there's a lady MC on the court as everyone just watches him shoot, lol. notice by the way, throwing down those dunks like he never actually had a wrist injury (wink, wink).....
  17. Been there a half dozen times between '07-'19. Would stay a week in Manhattan each time. It was fine, and in Brooklyn where my kid lived, everytime. Would take the subway back and forth, never a problem. Worse thing was rats would run in an out of the walls in the subway station by him at night, they were kind of cute. There was no decline of any kind during the 12 years I went there, had lots of fun, never felt uncomfortable. Covid began the downfall and what happened after I wouldn't put on the Mayor as so many want to.
  18. I see where this is going. I agree. I would trade 4 first rounders for Burrow to fill this glaring hole.
  19. Link? No, I'm saying Beane wanted to keep the contract as is. No redo of anything, much less giving him guaranteed money. There were 2 years left on that contract. Tell me about his years following 2018. He was spent for one reason or another.
  20. He had just wrapped up his 6th straight season of at least 1250 yards---and had 15 receiving TDs his last year in Pitts. Totally spent! You think he couldn't get at least another 1250 with Josh Allen throwing to him (absent Diggs)? That WR was trash--2 big money WRs were Brown and Beasley combining for 1800 yards, lol. By his final year, despite essentially the same number of targets per year, Diggs's production was in free fall. In all, the Bills paid one of the worst playoff WR1s in league history 80 million to pad his stats during the season. 2 years after a huge (2nd highest WR guarantee behind only Hill) 4 year extension, he was widely excised from the the body Buffalo, the cancer that he was...
  21. As far as off season thread topics go, this one is in the top 10%…
  22. Yes, I know OJ would be on the list along with some others but I have never seen them so my opinion on them is kinda worthless.
  23. Early this morning I saw a CNBC interview with an oil sector analyst and he said OPEC has approximately 7 million bbl/day of spare capacity but that 5 million of that flows through the straits. The leaves spare capacity of 2 million outside the conflict zone. If Iranian crude goes offline China could switch to additional Russian or Saudi crude or longer term perhaps Canadian oil sands exports from the West coast. I expect Israel is trying to convince the Trump administration to directly join the conflict and use the Air Force's big bomber capability to drop those 4 ton bunker busters on the underground facilities. I think directly joining the conflict in an offensive capacity would be a mistake. But nothing will be surprising. Entering the conflict would be politically damaging to Trump and only amplify voices claiming US Middle East policy decisions are directed from Israel. I also read the Pentagon is moving a carrier group (I can't recall which one) to the Persian Gulf from its current deployment in the South China Sea. Which I expect leaves Taiwan exposed. Another potential hot spot. The story said the carrier group was scheduled to rotate out of deployment back to home port but was diverted to the combat zone. It also appears the objective is slowly transforming from eliminated Iran's nuclear program to regime change efforts. The track record of success on those types of operations hasn't been very good.
  24. should we bring down the goal posts for the final time? Or would that be going too far you think?
  25. All those MAGAs jumping ship after the No Kings protests though!
