i don't see the point in repeatedly making the same mistake (keeping dick around and not spending anywhere near the cap)-such is the definition of stupidity

Why are you a fan of the Bills? Honestly?

 

Is it because they're an efficient, well-managed franchise? I'm not a Bills fan because of the decisions the franchise has made, I'm a Bills fan because they're Buffalo's football team.

 

I can't promise I'll buy tickets and jerseys and memorabilia for the Dick Jauron-era, but I'm not going to give up on them.

ralph is playing us all for suckers. he'll never spend for winning players or a winning coach. we've all been had. he knows he can sucker us all because wtf else is there to do in WNY besides watch the sabres? admittedly, not much

Understandable why you come to this conclusion. But there is the possibility that the "braintrust" really thought that their team could compete this year. Then it's a case of the blind leading the blind. I say this not because I jumped off the Bill's bandwagon, but this theme has been repeated over the last 10 years.....groan.......

I thought it was pretty obvious at the end of last year that this year would not be our breakthrough year. Even if Trent turns out to be our long-term answer at QB, he is simply too young now. As is our whole team. It seemed obvious to me that we would not be ready this year. We simply don't have the talent yet.

 

It is only the people who wildly overestimated how good we would be this season who are going crazy right now. When you drink the Kool-Aid, you have to suffer through the diarrhaea when it turns out the Kool-Aid was bad.

You forget how having a stud scouting department makes a team better than management or its coaches. RW should pay the best out there and get them to work for Buffalo.

Should one be a fan of a particular team ...... or be a fan of winning?

 

I guess in this day and age of free agents where players switch teams throughout a creer more than not, why shouldn't a "fan" switch his/her team depending on the win loss record.

 

Better yet, we could make "fandom" retro active; for instance since The G-men won the SB last year could I as a fan disclaim my "Billsness" and claim I'm a NYG fan? Could I be a fan of the flaming thumbtacks now because I enjoy being a fan of an undefeated team, then switch if the falter in the playoffs? I guess the only big disadvantage I can think of would be the cost of all of those T-shirts, and team pariphinalia if you switched all of the time. With todays "poptart" generation I guess this sort of fandom could work. But for this old fogey it will not.

 

I don't remember ever really choosing to be a Bills fan, I just became one, I've been one from the start and I'll be one until the end. good bad, or indifferent

Ok, since we all want to watch these idiots go let's help them decide where to go, in the NFL.

 

NFC West

 

Arizona - The perennial losers look good this year. However, history has shown they struggle a lot more than they win but there is a cool factor to saying they are Cardinals fans if they manage to win the SB. Fun factor right now: 8

 

49ers - Great history and they once had the greatest QB of all time and another HOF backing him up. Unfortunately, they suck right now and their HC is a slapstick joke. Fun factor right now: 4

 

Seahawks - Not much of a history. There will be a coaching change at the end of the year and he might suck like they think Jauron does. Too iffy. Fun factor: 2.

 

Rams - Were a perennial joke until they won a SB. They are a joke right now. Fun factor: 4

 

AFC West

 

Broncos - Proven HC great young QB will probably be able to right the ship in the next couple of years but are a joke right now and they don't want to wait. Fun factor: 5

 

Chargers - Best RB in the NFL and decent QB. However, it doesn't look like they'll do anything this year. Fun factor: 6

 

Chiefs and Raiders? No way not this year.

 

If anyone else wants to help them by breaking down more divisions do it.

Better start planning now - they gave Jauron an extension and unless the Bills finish 11-5 they'll likely miss the playoffs (if they finish 10-6 they probably lose the tiebreakers due to divisional record).
