OCinBuffalo
I wonder if he's gonna take his TEs out for Cheeseburger Night? What a great Teambuilding activity - - man that guy was a nightmare. JimBob2232
Actually, probably not a bad spot. The guy can draw up crazy plays with the best of them. He just cant call a good game. This way, he is still on the roster contributing, but he has no power. Good move for miami IMO.

Even better is who he's replacing him with. Even though they are still paying $1 mil to Mullarkey, Cam has decided he's better off with no one in the OC position. IDBillzFan
This is very bad news that only adds to all the other bad news we seem to have to face everyday. Exactly how does this team expect to beat the Fish if Mularkey isn't calling plays? We'll be lucky to steal one game from the Fish next year. The Dean
MM looked like he was going to be the real deal his 1st year in the Bufftown. Clearly it all became too much for him in year #2. I certainly wish the best for him down the road. I only hope the Phins replace him with someone as clueless as he at playcalling.

bluenews
....but its an upgrade for the Dolphins and Tight Ends. I can see a lot of FA TE flocking to Miami to work under Mularky. When do you have the opportunity to have a former NFL Head Coach as your position coach.

BillsFanM.D.
Mularkey should change his password from Super Bowl to Toilet Bowl. I completely forgot about that. Perhaps "pride" would be a suitable second choice... since he must be absolutely choking on it by now. His is truly a catastrophic fall from grace in the realm of coaching. I almost feel bad for him. ganesh
Most coaches go up the ladder- what a joke. It is like the high jump stick...Everytime you clear it, you go a notch up...However, if the stick falls at the top, it comes crashing all the way down...... Mike Tice went from HC to OL coach for the Jaguars. Mike Sherman went from HC to OL coach for the Texans Mike Mularkey went from HC to OC to TE coach for the Dolphins. Jim Mora Jr went from HC to DB coach for t he Seahawks Tom Donahoe went from President/GM to NOTHING...... It happens...
