MPL Posted Thursday at 08:36 PM Posted Thursday at 08:36 PM What's the record for the most injuries sustained during practice for a team in one season? 4 1 1 3 3 1 2 Quote
HappyDays Posted Thursday at 08:37 PM Author Posted Thursday at 08:37 PM Hopefully this means it's a minor injury and the boot is just precautionary. 5 Quote
Johnnycage46 Posted Thursday at 08:39 PM Posted Thursday at 08:39 PM Trying not to be overly pessimistic...but what the hell is going on with this team and mid/late-week injuries? It's ridiculous. 1 10 2 2 Quote

I don't recall who it was this season, but someone on the Bills was in a boot during the week and played (or at least I think that happened lol). Maybe helps with swelling and keeping pressure off of it. Quote
ScotSHO Posted Thursday at 08:42 PM Posted Thursday at 08:42 PM (edited) It's probably a turf toe thing - precautionary/recovery during the week and pain management while you play thru it. The boot keeps you from flexing the joint and gives it time to calm the inflammation down. Edited Thursday at 08:42 PM by ScotSHO 3 3 2 Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted Thursday at 08:43 PM Posted Thursday at 08:43 PM TURF TOE!!! * Maybe he just wore it to get the disabled parking spot close to the field house? 🤔 2 1 11 Quote
dave mcbride Posted Thursday at 08:44 PM Posted Thursday at 08:44 PM I heard today on Joe Marino's podcast today that the Bills are tied for the lead league with the Giants in call-ups from the practice squad this year. 1 2 1 1 Quote

davefan66 Posted Thursday at 08:46 PM Posted Thursday at 08:46 PM Didn’t Ronnie Lott cut his toe off so he could play?? 🧐 1 3 1 Quote

A lot of the call ups on the Giants were from Daboll abusing personnel. Hurt feelings. 😢 1 1 Quote
ScotSHO Posted Thursday at 08:47 PM Posted Thursday at 08:47 PM Again just guessing, but if it's turf toe the pain can be unbearable. Every step/flexed pushoff of the foot is agony. The answer is to get shots in the joint, but then your foot goes numb - and the athlete falls down all game. 3 1 Quote
Steptide Posted Thursday at 08:49 PM Posted Thursday at 08:49 PM Don't worry guys, they're just trying to throw the Patriots off 😉 1 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted Thursday at 08:53 PM Posted Thursday at 08:53 PM While not encouraging, being in a walking boot is not a guarantee of a serious or even weekly injury. Quote
Playoffs? Posted Thursday at 08:54 PM Posted Thursday at 08:54 PM This is insane. And my opinion of the Pats game changes if we don’t have Benford on the field. Hopefully it’s nothing that will impact him much on Sunday. This is just too many injuries in the season. So frustrating. 1 Quote
