Can you not get across the message without physical punishment? That's kind of my whole point. Again, I'm speculating. I don't know this to be a fact. But we're *constantly* taking mid week injuries. More so than other teams. I can't help but wonder if things like "sending a message" (as you put it) and in general how he conducts the physicality in practice isn't more to blame than the board whipping boy of the Strength & Conditioning department. It's just funny to me that you thought it was a day and a half after the game where they had a padded practice. It's football man. When you get torched on the ground like that you need to send a message somehow. Quote

ShakAttack Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Over the past 3 weeks, Christian Benford is quite literally the ONLY player on the defense occasionally making splash plays. OF COURSE it was going to be be him. Oh yeah, Bosa had that one play too. And we saw what happened to him. Listen, at the end of the day, ASSUMING WE MAKE THE PLAYOFFS, I'd rather have these key players fresh off a few weeks of getting their bodies right (especially since we aren't getting the 1 seed) than being in a position where we get to play teams like KC at home for once.......... but are forced to sign AJ Klein off the street just to field 11 players on defense. We'll see how it goes. But as far as Bosa, I'm telling you man, I said it before the hammy injury even happened, that I'd rather we let the guy get a few weeks to heal up that wrist, so I wasn't that mad about the hamstring injury; it may be a blessing in disguise. Again, the key is to make the playoffs, with whatever dang 22 we gotta do it with, and hope that we find ourselves in a position where some of these guys are back for the playoffs (and don't all get hurt in the first round... like what happened against Pittsburgh once, and I think Miami too). Have to think bigger picture. We've been down this road too many times not to. Edited 7 hours ago by ShakAttack 1 Quote
dollars 2 donuts Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) @ShakAttack “OF COURSE it was going to be him.” I said the same thing earlier when I found out. It is literally maddening and it happens so much to the defense. Shak, he was honestly playing too well for the football gods not to notice…those jerks. Edited 7 hours ago by dollars 2 donuts Quote

Maybe helps with swelling and keeping pressure off of it. It was Ed Oliver after a teammate (horse) stepped on his foot. He did infact miss a game. Edited 6 hours ago by loyal2dagame Quote

Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted 11 minutes ago Posted 11 minutes ago McDermott decided 'no more mister nice guy'. He had the team running punishment laps. 🙁 Quote
