Best memory of a defensive pick six

Taron Johnson’s was amazing, although I also liked this Nate Odomes one against the Raiders in 1990.  First game I ever went to.

My very first Buffalo Bills regular season game

 

Was one of the 3 pick sixes thrown by Namath and we won 37-35 for our only win of the year

Taron in the divisional round during the Covid year. 

I must have watched that play 200 times from different angles. 

 

Honorable mention: Drayton Florence against NE in 2011. I've never cried in the stadium except for that play. It was absolutely bonkers in that place.

A shoutout to this often-forgotten gem. It was only my second Bills game ever. This is another game where the pick-six was our only touchdown. We won the game 10-7 in OT and it was a huge late-season step in ending a 5-year playoff drought in 1980.

Awesome play, but I don't think technically that was an interception... more like a purse snatching.

Surprised only a couple of people mentioned this one so far. This was the most insane I think I've ever seen fans at the Ralph. Hard to overstate how much the stadium erupted when this happened.

Hyde's pirouette catch and return vs Miami's attempted onside kick. 

Benford Burrow Pick 6. 

 

It's either Taron's or Benford's.   Both were turning points in the game.   Taron's was a playoff game with Bmore about to go for the tie from about the 8 yd line.   Benford's was the spark that the team needed to pull off the win.  

I'll pick Tarons.  Because it was a playoff game. It deflated the Ravens psychologically.  They didnt seem in it after that.

The Taron Johnson pick 6 was the biggest one i’ve personally experienced. Kind of established the Bills as not a fluke, but a real contender winning their 2nd playoff game.

Great pick. Just sucks that we won the battle. And they ultimately won the war. They lost one game after this in a near 14 month span.

In what was a microcosm of the season, after winning opening day 31-0, we went on to lose to the Patriots by the same score on the last game of the season. Ugh.
