Yes - Wool socks with boots.

But the layering info above is good - but rather "old school" which tends to not stand these days. Lots of layers makes you sweat. The perspiration can't escape thus holding moisture and sweat on your body and clothes. Then you freeze!

The MOST IMPORTANT piece is a windproof and water resistant jacket. Base layer under that with light moisture wicking clothes and you will be gold!

Hat, gloves, wool socks. Boom.

This can definitely be an issue if you overdo it, but the nice thing about layers is that you can start peeling them off one at a time, tie them around your waist and sit on them if you feel your pores opening up and the sweat coming on.

Yeah man - everyone is different too. What works for you might not work for me etc. But layering is the way to go.

Made that mistake once. Brother had access to Tyvek suits. we wore them over our layers figuring we would be warm ad dry. Besides keeping the rain/snow out, they keep the sweat IN!  We were soaked by the end of the game.

 

Lets have an Allen Dive in the snow again!

Dressing in layers is smart. I can peel them off in front of the TV when the wings start making me sweat.

Battery heated socks do wonders and you can buy them on Amazon fairly cheep. They have ones you can control with your phone and come with extra rechargeable batteries so you can change them out if they die.

There's a couple of Canadian Models that show Orchard Park having around 6 inches of snow by 7 pm. I'm personally not buying that. 2 to 3 inches is the best bet.
