Standing on cement for four hours sucks the warm life out of your feet. Yes - Wool socks with boots. But the layering info above is good - but rather "old school" which tends to not stand these days. Lots of layers makes you sweat. The perspiration can't escape thus holding moisture and sweat on your body and clothes. Then you freeze! The MOST IMPORTANT piece is a windproof and water resistant jacket. Base layer under that with light moisture wicking clothes and you will be gold! Hat, gloves, wool socks. Boom. 1 Quote

This can definitely be an issue if you overdo it, but the nice thing about layers is that you can start peeling them off one at a time, tie them around your waist and sit on them if you feel your pores opening up and the sweat coming on. 1 Quote

Yeah man - everyone is different too. What works for you might not work for me etc. But layering is the way to go. 1 Quote

Brother had access to Tyvek suits. we wore them over our layers figuring we would be warm ad dry. Besides keeping the rain/snow out, they keep the sweat IN! We were soaked by the end of the game. Lets have an Allen Dive in the snow again! Edited 11 hours ago by Wacka 1 Quote

nosejob Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Dressing in layers is smart. I can peel them off in front of the TV when the wings start making me sweat. 2 Quote

It was only in the summertime though. I’m going to the game in Cleveland in two weeks and have never been in bitter cold for no more than 15 minutes. And it wasn’t bitter because it’s South Carolina. How do you all advise how I dress for this game? I know many of you are from this element, so what benefits you could be a death sentence for me. But any advice would help!😂 Battery heated socks do wonders and you can buy them on Amazon fairly cheep. They have ones you can control with your phone and come with extra rechargeable batteries so you can change them out if they die. 2 Quote
Draconator Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago There's a couple of Canadian Models that show Orchard Park having around 6 inches of snow by 7 pm. I'm personally not buying that. 2 to 3 inches is the best bet. Quote
Wacka Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Snowing slightly harder now but still light. Like when its lightly raining, not the big fluffy fakes. Quote
