Mayfield, Darnold, Allen, Jackson*

All still in the hunt this year. It kind of surprises me that a class this good is still waiting for its first SB appearance, now nearing the end of their collective 32 seasons of NFL football. For comparison, the great Class of 1983 (Elway, Kelly, Marino) saw their first SB with Marino, then a couple with Elway, then already had one with Kelly by the end of their 8th season. (Yeah, and zero wins, but still.) And that's despite Kelly losing time to the USFL.

Right now I'm still sticking with Josh. I think the Bills patch it together and come back strong in the playoffs this year and the next couple years. But I can see a really good argument for any of the others too, particularly Darnold (that defense) and Lamar (those injuries won't last forever). Mayfield? I think he's a really good QB on a very average team.

*Josh Rosen exempted; he joins Todd Blackledge as a footnote to NFL history.

I am going with Allen. Best player easily at the most important position.

With that said, I like what Seattle is doing as far as constructing a roster with athletic and aggressive skill players.

I agree mostly with what you said. The problem I'm having with the Bills is they are making the most important player and MVP a game manager by how they've constructed around him. Mainly WR.

Jackson - It won't be this year, none of the 4 will be this year but Lamar has the best coaching and probably is on the best roster of the four.

I can see that. But I think he'll decline faster than Allen, so the clock is ticking.

I will say Darnold. Seattle has a solid team. Allen will never get there with this FO. I have seen enough after 9 years to know it's not going to happen unless Terry cleans house.

You are seriously underestimating the chances of Josh Rosen coming back and leading the team that originally drafted him.. Arizona...to Super Bowl Glory. There will be Hallmark movies made about it

Yeah, I could see Darnold and the Hawks going this year! Got a fierce D led by Macdonald, JSN, etc. Now that Schneider doesn’t have Pete chirping in his ear, he’s starting to kill the draft as well.

Seattle could. The NFC has a lot of good teams this year, I wouldnt be shocked if Seattle ended up on top.

Baker is good enough, but the Bucs are incredibly injured. Maybe if they get hot

Bills have as good a shot as any in the AFC

Ravens - 😂

Or he'll be a crypto bro who buys the Cardinals and signs free agent Josh Allen to do a late-career Elway.

Josh Rosen is currently attending the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, where he is pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration. After his NFL career took him to multiple teams, he has shifted his focus to a business education.

Solid defense and things seem to go right. Their worst game of the season they barely lost; Rams.

Might be also. Tough one to call. Very different situations for each of their respective teams.

It actually wouldn’t surprise me if the Ravens somehow found form and hit the playoff running given there’s a good chance they win that division.

It will be Darnold just because God has a twisted sense of humor.

If he does win one at least it wasn't with the Jets. I have nothing against the Seahawks. They just need to go back to the classic uniforms full time which look so much better the crap they wear now.

I see your cynical and sarcastic fiction occasionally ventures into fantasy. 🤔😁

And I see you occasionally veer off into 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' scale scenarios. 😁

I think harbaugh is absolutely a worse coach than Sean McDermott lol

They literally have five six seven pro bowlers and all pros every single year and fall short ...

We beat them with less talent which is 100% coaching.. even in the first game of the year harbaugh tensed up and the team tensed up around him

Harbaugh is on a crazy hot seat just like Tomlin

I would say 1. Allen; 2. Baker. But I guess I haven't watched enough Seahawks games this year, seems like you guys are pretty high on them.

What about Mason Rudolph and Mike White? They are the only other two QBs from that draft class that are actually still kicking around the league (Rudolph is Pittsburgh's backup and White is currently on the Panthers practice squad). Strange things have happened before (Nick Foles, Jeff Hostetler, Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer). 😊

What evidence is there to say he has the best coaching?

Is this the staff that has had an MVP quality QB and running back the past few years, a top-tier Defense, etc., etc., and yet still can't get past the 1st round of the playoffs? And probably won't even make it this year.

Harbaugh is all media hype.
