Sean haters...if the Bills win the Super Bowl this year, you will...

  1. 1. What will Sean haters do if the Bills win the Super Bowl?

    • Happily eat crow. Many servings. Won't say another bad word about him. All I needed was one SB win in my lifetime. He can stay here forever.

    • Be just as happy as everyone else. But still hold the belief that his philosophy and decision making has prevented Josh from winning more rings.

    • I'm so jaded by :13 (etc) that I will be happy but it won't be the same elation as if we won it in 2020 or 2021.

Its mainly #2 for me,BUT... I will most definitely eat a plate of Crow and be forever appreciative of him coaching us to a superbowl win.

So a mix of 1 & 2 for me,because it can be both.

I´m not a hater, I like McD but I do agree that his philosophy has prevented us to get a ring by now.

I don´t undertand how a defensive head coach has fail to have a top defense and I also don´t like his stile of play not to lose.

So I´ll be super happy, but I wanted Ben Johnson and still think we need that kind of coach while we have Josh Allen.

I can live with 1 Super Bowl during my lifetime. Still would think they have done Allen a disservice in terms of his career. However, I think winning one will cure a lot. If they can do it this year with probably their weakest group I will be surprised.

It's mainly #1 for me, and I have posted as such numerous times here. Win 1 SB and he gets a statue, lifetime contract, and carte blanche as far as I'm concerned. But now that YOU mention it, there will probably be a little bit of #2 in the back of my mind as well.

I think what most will do is say that Josh Allen won in spite of McDermott and that he still needs to go. And yes I fully expect a thread right after the game titled "I love that we won the Super Bowl....but" that will point out that Sean used his timeouts incorrectly, the defense...HIS DEFENSE...gave up a 3rd and 12 conversion and that keeping him is not sustainable to win another Super Bowl. Then the poster will say we need to fire him and bring Daboll in to run the show.

To many flaws with this roster for them to win a Super Bowl this year. I put the blame on Beane for that. I hope I am wrong of course and they can win the Super Bowl, but I don't think this is our year. We need a legit WR 1 and WR 2 to go with Allen, Cook, Shakir (who makes for a great WR 3) and Kincaid. Look at what Hurts as in Brown and Smith. Dak with Cee-Dee and Pickens, Burrow with Chase and Higgins. Also need a better defense.  Unfortunately, these issues can only be improved in the offseason with the draft and FA.

Allen would need an absolutely Herculian effort in the playoffs to offset this coaching staff's strategic decisions.

I can't even fathom what it would take from him, to be honest. In the 2021 playoffs, he had a 77% completion percentage, 640 yards, 9 TDs, and 0 INTs, and that still wasn't enough to get out of the second round. And that team had a much better defense and offensive coordinator.

Be very happy and also wonder if they could have won even more SB's with an offensive minded HC & GM.  But my happiness at winning the SB would overshadow any such thoughts.

What gets me is the Texans have built a stud defense in just 3 years.

Its both scheme and talent, something we have failed on

If it happens I will be elated… but winning only forgives shortcomings, it doesn’t fix them. The same problems we have will likely continue. It would, however, make me a bit more patient with the process admittedly.

He did have a top defense for many years.
