jahnyc Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago You would have to think that Rogers and the plan for the Steelers' offense today will be to run the ball and throw short passes with Rogers getting the ball out fast to avoid getting hit with his broken wrist. Rogers already takes very little time to make his throws, but I expect today that he will be even faster. I hope the Bills are prepared for this. Quote

Baltimore is going to lose more games too. I don't really see it as oh so urgent for Pittsburgh, especially how crappy Baltimore looks. It's a wacky year. If Pittsburgh loses today they drop from that 4 seed to "in the hunt" and Baltimore takes that's spot for now. Quote

SCBills Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Kincaid is the Bosa of the Offense. When healthy, arguably our best playmaker. Never healthy. Because Allen is on that side of the ball, Kincaid rests.. or better said, sleeps. Bosa, because we have zero impact players and are in a dogfight for the postseason, has to play through injury even though we desperately need him healed up for the playoffs. 1 Quote

The problem is that a core group of people treat his opinions (and that's all they are...his opinions) as the gospel truth. People really no longer have the ability or desire to think for themselves on a large scale these days. He spoon feeds them their opinions. How many replies on this very forum start out with the phrase "Well, Joe Marino says..." like that's some kind of end all to the argument. Marino makes a lot of valid statements and opinions. He also offers up clunkers. He states the exact same things we see and read here. I probably agree with Joe on 80-90% of his points. One of his takes for the life of me I could never agree with though , was his love for Tremaine Edmunds. Could never understand his love fest for that guy Quote

Now, I think the absolute last chance for him would be this offseason. But if he spends the rest of the year useless (which includes being a healthy scratch), an offseason turnaround would be close to miraculous. Right now, we’re in the much more pedestrian territory of “young player struggles with the professionalism the NFL requires.” 1 Quote

Who will man up and tackle Darnell Washington? Quote

Although we probably won’t touch him I looked it up. Kaleb Johnson. He's gonna put up HOF numbers. 3rd string RB. Jack Sawyer gonna put up big numbers too Quote

I don't get why Morgan Fox is not active today. How effective can Bosa be? He did not even have his name listed on the stat sheet last game. Did Spector really need to be called up? Quote

I've been on the fence about this as well. Do I want to face this reality? Does Coleman? Is he mature enough to realize the importance of his game today? What can he do? Athletically he is limited and we already know Josh can make chemistry with him but will it be natural? Will Coleman put his mind to it? Is there a leader on the team who's not creampuff wordy words like Dawkins who can hold him accountable? Do we have a Hollins, Hughes, Diggs, or Lee Smith or Hyde? Maybe Poyer will get the chance to realize his leadership role as we hit the homestretch. Ty Johnson is the unsung leader of the offense (no kidding) if people did not know. Will Johnson be able to speak to him and get him up? 1 1 Quote

And that's nothing against you. That's what he does best. He states points that are very obvious and most people agree on. Then, because he's saying exactly what everyone else is he's lauded for it. Seriously, most of the time I've listened to him I hear him saying things that were brought up right here by random posters a week or two before he says it. He's very good at making people feel that what they already thought is validated. And that's not a knock on him either. He found a niche and cashes in on it. Good for him. 1 Quote
