Y'all need therapy, and I'm not kidding or trying to be mean

The Bills are a very good team that is currently a M.A.S.H. unit on defense.  We are 7-4.  We have already beat teams that we will be fighting with for Wild Card spots.  We're getting in.

The Eli Manning Giants got hot and the right time AND lucky AF and got two rings against the GOAT coach/QB combo off of it.

This was a very entertaining game for a neutral observer and the Bills had a chance to win it at the end.  They pulled off a beautiful hook and ladder play to make it possible.  Gabe Davis in-bounds or Dawkins doesn't jump and there's a very good chance of a W.

Take a deep breath, schedule an appointment, and stop basing your happiness/self-worth on how a sports team that you aren't on performs.

Yes definitely.  This one was hard to watch.  We’ve been spoiled.  Haven’t won the big one but we usually watch a really good team.  This year we’ve regressed.  It’s becoming annoying.

starting to look like the drought with the bad Oline play along with average receivers

outside of Allen, the talent on this team is likely worse than some drought teams

This has way more to do with the mentality of Bills fans than it has anything else

We were destitute for 18 years..

Got a sniff of success and became as spoiled as Patriots fans.. you could read it here on posts everyday

The fact you can go from beatin and downtrodden to spoiled in a 9-year span is ridiculous

It usually takes 20 years of success... This fan base is tremendously good but it also has the flip side that is tremendously masochist and hurt that they would rather say let's trade Josh

Then try to just make the team better

We go from downtrodden to having a superstar to not thinking we deserve that Superstar

Dude this is the NFL.. Buffalo Bills deserve Josh Allen after 65 years

spoiled?   Hardly.  Outside of Allen this team has been a hot mess.  Coaching, GM, etc.

w deserve JA.  But spoiled is funny.  We have won NOTHING.  Can’t really be spoiled.

Not really.

The last 7 minutes of the Ravens game and the 2nd half of the Bucs game were about it.

Watching this defense is soul crushing. Can't stop the run. Can't stop 3rd downs. Can't get sacks/turnovers unless we're playing Fields or Dalton. This defense is mostly bend AND break. We're sometimes bend but don't break.

It feels like this offense runs 10+ bubble screens per game, half of which get tackled for minimum gain (or a loss). The offensive philosophy seems to prefer draining the clock over scoring points in an effort to protect this god awful defense.

I feel like it’s becoming more and more rare than I enjoy watching a Bills game.

Maybe it’s the impending doom feeling that we have a unicorn QB and still find a way to mess it up.

Its the whole history of the team, the coach, the GM…

When they win, I feel relieved. When they lose, I feel devastated.

Any tips? What do you all do to disengage and try to actually enjoy this?

Play Arc Raiders instead and passively watch. Try it. Thank me later.

This team has been consistently one of the best teams in the league.  It has not been a hot mess.  We all want to win a Superbowl.  No team is perfect.

The fan base acts spoiled

We are acting like we're not making the playoffs and we're seven and four.. we were complaining at 7-3

Any football player understands it's a 17 plus week season and only one team wins it all... You're not trash because you lost in the AFC championship game

But this fan base would make you believe that 100%

The most fun I get from the Bills is the anticipation to the game, the community feel I have in the neighborhood at work and around town, the excitement about having a positive major franchise in the area and of course the many many wins they’ve had over the years.

When they stunk, it didn’t matter at all. Now they’ve become good and relevant and we’ve all felt the excitement and buzz that comes with each game. We build up our hopes in thinking it will continue and are disappointed when it doesn’t. The games aren’t “fun” for me but are emotional , and that is something that I think is important as a fan of any hobby.

We spend countless hours Nd dollars invested and it means something to us, even if just a game: the frustration it just because we care. If you lose the love for it, step back and find something to about it.

For example, if Houston makes the playoffs I will be rooting for them (as long as it isn’t the bills). They were fun to watch on D

Some of us have very fulfilling lives and we still get upset that we’ll probably never get a chance to celebrate a Super Bowl appearance, let alone a Super Bowl trophy with our fathers, siblings, sons etc.

This team has the same issues every ****ing year.  Oh, the defense is a mash unit you say?  That’s shocking, considering they always are.  Undersized defense, always hurt, couldn’t possibly be a correlation there…

A GM that makes Green Bay look like they gave Aaron Rodgers the world in comparison to what Josh has been given.

It’s just sad.  I’m not mad.  I’m not overly angry.  I’m just sad that I may never get to experience a Super Bowl with my pops.

It's not that Bills fans don't deserve Allen, it's that Allen deserves to win a Lombardi, and can't do it with the rosters assembled by Beane.  Allen deserves better.

Bean and McD need to go.   Need to start over.  No college coach, NHL, NBA, etc coach or GM/AD would get this long of a leash with a top 3 player for 8 years and no championship.   And fans wanting a championship and watching Allen be squandered by an inept HC and GM are not spoiled.

No it’s not fun. I actually turn off most games before they are over, like tonight. I feel the team has taken a major step backwards this year and it’s hard for me to endure this team. Their defense is atrocious and the offense is maddening at times. I have lost a crap load of confidence in McD and Beane. I no longer believe they will get us what we all want. I’ve been following this team for over 50 years and the losses against teams that are mediocre at best are soul crushing.
