PonyBoy Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I'm a guy who believes if you want to be the best you have to beat the best. I want the Colts because I've generally liked them for a long time, but KC has been the best. Chiefs have been great, but have had so many calls, breaks etc.. Patriots 2.0 If KC doesn't make playoffs, I'll take a SB anytime. Chiefs fans as arrogant as they have become, will always have the well ..you didn't beat us in the playoffs over Buffalos head. 🤷♂️ Like I said, I'll take a SB anyway the Bills can get it. Quote

We have beat them like five straight times in the regular season We don't owe them nothing.. as I said I want the worst NFC team in the Super bowl too It will never matter in the annals of History how it happened.. I want it I will take the easiest and the worst opponents We have beaten plenty of good teams over 8 years I don't care 1 1 Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago We want to face the Chiefs one last time. Because I think this is it. For Kansas City Chiefs. We're the ones who will put them out. Hoping the Chiefs miss the playoffs? Screw that. We're hoping and hiding? Buaahahha sorry, brahs. LOL no way. Quote

Nick Wright really HATES Buffalo Bills. We're his number one enemy. He proved that today with all of his yelling and preaching with fervor and passion when Buffalo Bills came up. It was embarrassing to watch. He didn't do that towards the other AFC teams. It's not the Chargers or Colts or Broncos or Ravens. It's us. That's why we want really want Chiefs in Wildcard Weekend (if we end up on Wildcard, too). Why does he hate us so much with passion? He knows Josh Allen, James Cook and, probably our O-line, are the real deals. Quote
P Riv Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Rooting for the Colts... No way I want to see KC in the playoffs again. If they don't make it, I'm sure we'll see them again next year anyway. Quote

If your listen to the whole body of his work and views, he has a very myopic take on who is good and who is bad. And it comes down to one and one only category. You are good if you can beat Patrick Mahommes. He has been forced to grudgingly give Buffalo their props. On any gievn show he can spout off, but he is being paid to be controversal. But he consistently rates Buffalo and Josh high in his mountain and tiers. What surprises me about First Things First is the amount of their show they spend talking about three teams. Chiefs, Ravens and Bills. Even with the Colts, Broncos and Patriots playing well, they are only discussed through the lens of Chiefs, Ravens and Bills. Quote

I do not regularly watch his content but what you have stated is not surprising to me. It is just recent history, the AFC in the 2020's have centered around 4 teams because they are the only ones which have reached the AFCCG, the teams you have listed plus Cincinnati. I guess the media is unsure whether this year is a blip or a potential changing of the guard situation in the AFC. Out of the usual 4 teams, as of now, only Buffalo is on track to reach the postseason. Most expect Baltimore to make it, KC is in trouble, Cincy is 99% out. So if KC are not in the playoffs then a new team will finally reach the Super Bowl from the AFC side. Since Indianapolis is at KC this week, lets see what happens. Only time will tell if any of the other contending AFC quarterbacks can join the top table with the other respected names. Quote
billsfan89 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I feel like there is a legit case for KC to spin that if they can just make the playoffs they will be a relevant team even as a wildcard. The positive spin would be that they are 5-5 and while their record is what it is, their 5 losses have all been one score losses to teams that are above .500. If they get 1 of those 5 one score games they are 6-4 and not sitting too bad. Their schedule while not easy does get better. They have softer games against the Cowboys, Titans, and Raiders plus a banged up Chargers team at home. If they win those 4 games plus a home game against the Texans they should get to 10 wins and be in the mix for a wildcard. Overall I am just not really seeing the KC is dead thing yet. Even if they lose this week while their margin of error is very narrow (gotta effectively go 5-1) they could still make it. In the end I am not as a Bills fan concerned with KC. Bills beat KC and they have their own problems to deal with. Quote

LEBills Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 21 hours ago, wjag said: Last week you could not find a sane Chiefs fan who believed Denver would be able to beat them. You know, Denver has beaten up on soft teams. The big, bad red machine was gonna put Denver in their rightful place. No way Denver would be able to hold them below 20 points, yadadada.. And then the come to Jesus moment happened as the FG sailed through the uprights as time expired. It only took a few days for the shock to wear off before Chiefs fans began spinning a new narrative. Having almost certainly lost the AFC West crown, they are now pivoting to: Once the Chiefs go on the road in the playoffs as a low WC seed, Mahommes/Reid will cement their legacy with a WC run to the SB. I know we should be allied with the Chiefs this week against the Ponies team from Indianna, but I so badly want them dead and buried. Another loss would all but do that. Finally the discussion is being had Quote
Green Lightning Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago At some level, I think either way, we win. Watching KC lose never gets old. We are not a great match up with Indy given our run D, but maybe Daniel Jones will be Daniel Jones again on the way to tje AFC Championship game. Quote
stevewin Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Compton trolling Chiefs fans on Get Up this AM - saying Colts will win in a blowout and in general people need to stop the 'I'm not betting against Patrick Mahomes' talk. Says "It's over" - "Families need to prepare in KC for a Thanksgiving feast and start having conversations that their Chiefs are no longer going to be in the playoffs this year. Families need to prepare for Christmas that their children are going to be asking for Bo Nix jerseys and not Patrick Mahomes" lol 😆 😂 Quote

That is true, but he drags his feet, yells, punching the air the entire time. His shtick got old when his approach comes to Buffalo. Yeah, his pattern is consistent on that regard. He became predictable with his reasons, too. To keep the audience on their feet, Nick Wright should try to play Devils Advocate consistently. The recent show was probably his worst outing with all the yelling and pleading when one dude rated Buffalo high, way higher than Chiefs. It was just embarrassing to watch a grown man baby cry.
