Josh is not a game manager. He’s at his best when he’s running, lowering his shoulder, and improvising. We need a little of both Josh playing within structure and going off script. Brady schemed guys open last week, hopefully he does the same this week and Josh actually takes the easy stuff then unloads with the Alien Power. Exactly. I think people, especially McDermott, have been slow to realize Allen is a highly emotional player. When he gets fired up, he comes alive. It's no coincidence he played so well against Lamar, Mahomes, and Mayfield, three of his top peers. In the Miami game, I think if McDermott had gone for it on fourth and inches on their own thirty-yard line or whatever, Josh might have played a different game. McDermott's forcing him into a cerebral game-manager role is the worst thing he could do with this quarterback, that and not giving him weapons. He's not Tom Brady, he's better than Brady. Or rather could be if he had a GM, coach and coordinator who knew how to tap his enormous potential. In short, Allen is playing as well as is despite Beane, McDermott, and Brady, not because of them. I'm not saying they're awful at their jobs. They're just ordinary people doing ordinary things with an extraordinary athlete. And they're holding him back. 2 Quote

EmotionallyUnstable Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Well if Hardman’s injury is anything long term, the easiest swap would be move to IR and sign Gabe to the active roster. I am guessing they will first try and expire the remaining two PS call ups because I am wondering based on the Sanders/Solomon usage if they’re trying to get Morgan Fox up to speed to contribute on the DL Quote

If I were a coach, I would limit exposure for guys with any nicks during the short week. The install meetings are much more important than the actual practices. 2 Quote

I don't even have an issue about him naming people of color. If that's how he lists it's fine. But at least be humble and not include yourself after being in the league for a cup of coffee. Also, the most offensive thing to me is that if he wanted to name all people of color....pick better ones. Dak over Jordan Love is an abomination. Heck Russ Wilson has a better career resume than Dak. Quote

Wilson wasn't the same ferocity of tire fire he had been in 2022, but he still wasn't a top-10 guy in '23. Quote
