He’d make our offense awesome. Wow, I completely disagree on that. It's either Jordan Love is vastly over rated, or LaFleur isn't "it." The Packers are one of Goodell's darlings. Rarely penalized, and they get an abundance of favorable calls. I see an underachieving team there. They can't score points this season and they are loaded at WR & RB. 1 Quote

C.Biscuit97 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Better receivers and pass rushers. its also hilarious how bad Frazier got scapegoated with multiple top 3 defenses. Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) As others have said Mike McDaniel Alex Tanney Mike Kaufka Bills need to transition to a WC offense for the 2nd half of Josh's career and move away from EP Defense is a lost cause because McDermott will micromanage whoever is DC and no competent DC will want to work with that. It will be an internal hire only Edited 4 hours ago by JakeFrommStateFarm 1 Quote
wagne591 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I think in order for McD to change he needs to let his coordinators dictate the game and roll with the flow as far as in game management goes. He tries to dictate how the game will be played instead of going with the flow of how the game is being played. If he just goes to head coaching and game management I think he will be just fine. Let the coordinator's coach and call plays with the flow of the game. I don't think this will happen though because McD is a control freak. I like a lot of the choices but I am going way outside the box for this one. How about Jimbo Fisher for OC- HC of texas A&M for a few years and ran a pro style offense using his TE's a lot with a mediocre QB (Keleen Mond), he also led Florida State the a National Champ with Jamis Winston. Fisher did call the plays and I think he would do good for Josh. Plus he is a little older and would probably be good at finishing his career here as OC for Allen. And Rex Ryan for DC - I think Rex loved it here in Buffalo and it sucks that it didn't work out for him. I think if he just was responsible for the Defense it would be a good thing. He always had good defense's in Baltimore and the NY Jets and I think Buffalo just got away from him early. I do think he would be good and it looks like he has that coaching itch every time I see him on TV. And McD has to stay out of the sand box and let these guys go to town. Fire away Mafia!!! Quote

Warriorspikes51 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) OC Tom Brady HC Bill DC Jim Schwartz / whoever Bills go darkside to win it all. Allen becomes unstoppable with Brady program/mindset Edited 2 hours ago by Warriorspikes51 Quote

He is the franchise and far more valuable than either Beane or McDermott. Plus if Brady goes, it’ll be because Allen WANTS him to go. Allen is the power there now, although he of course has to be willing to exert that power. That’s an open question. I agree on the value point and I agree the OC decision will come a lot down to Josh (the last two already did). But if he is banging the table for Daboll as OC I am not sure that is sustainable if McDermott and Beane remain. I am not sure he is going to go to war for Dabes yet. I don't think it is off the table that Daboll is the next Bills Head Coach though. Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago All I know is I want Brian Flores as our next HC. He was the best HC Miami had since Shula who got more out of his rosters than most do. Pair him with an innovative OC and pick his DC. He got such a raw deal in Miami its stunning he isn't a HC again already. I would also be open to BB and McDaniels combo - not sure McDaniels leaves NE for anyone but BB at this point, if he would even do that given the upstart Pats and young stud QB. 1 Quote

CEN-CAL17 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Honestly!!!! Klint Kubiak as HC Brian Daboll as OC Jim Leonard as DC Kubiak and Daboll, let those 2 work together to combine schemes!!!!! But they will let McDermott open the new stadium. So fans need to accept even if the bills miss the playoffs, McD will be the HC! Quote
Bill51390 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago As long as McDermott is here, we will never have a big name coordinator. It will be some ascending guy. 1 Quote

But he actively advocated for both and that no question factored into the decisions. I suspect he would advocate for whoever the internal candidate is next time too, whoever it is.... UNLESS he felt he had a legit shot of getting Daboll back. That's his guy and I think he'd pound the table. Quote
