You like to pull out one or two examples and make a case. So, I’m guessing those two times you pissed off your wife means you’re a lousy husband?

The season-long trend is the Bills’ passing game begins behind the line of

scrimmage.

They did a lot of that last year also and so does KC.

They take free yards.

They also are near the top of the NFL in offense.

Are there times they are a little too overly reliant on that. Sure.

Is this some major issue most people want to make it. Probably not.

Listening to Greg Cossell’s analysis of the Bills passing game is spot on.  He points the finger not at the receivers it Brady.  Many routes other teams use are not in the Bills playbook.  He cited that this has been a problem for over a year.  I concur and have seen this problem and feel no confidence that Brady will have an epiphany and correct his play designs.

Josh has got to take charge. Start waving off the stupid calls.

A lot of people throwing stuff out there.  Truth is nobody here knows what is going on behind closed doors at 1 Bills Drive. It's entertaining though. Some of these hot takes are cracking me up.

I've been saying this also and everyone keeps saying its the receivers. I agree with Greg Cossell!

And here comes the obligatory "two things can be equally true" post (probably for the 10th time today).

You're welcome!

Really frustrating to watch though. Shakir is the only one they seem to trust throwing it, and the odds of him breaking it are about the same as those 12-game parlays I play on FanDuel lol.

The Bills have always been killed by those WR screens, so everyone wanted to run them here - but they just aren’t good or consistent with it. They are equally as bad with RB screens, but they don’t continue to call those because they know it won’t work.

Not sure whether to blame the play designs or Josh being off his game so much those year.

We know about the elevations yet?

Don't get your hopes up! This organization has done nothing but disappoint since the KC win. Wish they'd made a trade and kept the momentum going instead of killing the mo.

Elevations need to happen within the next 20 minutes.

We should know.

No, it’s 14 minutes.

Just listened to it and it was excellent.  Basically Brady is doing nothing much to scheme the receivers open for intermediate routes.  If I followed correctly, Brady is relying on pure receiver skill to get open.  Cosell pointed out you don't need all-world receivers to get guys open.  Reminds me of the plain vanilla defense Wannstedt used to play.  Reading between the lines, Brady is playing checkers instead of three dimensional chess that other teams do. Lord I hope he has an epiphany.

He gets 7+ yards quite frequently on those, first downs semi-frequently and took one to the house against NO.  It's an extension of their run game essentially.

I mean, they ARE good with WR screens. I am not sure what you are watching honestly. RB screens, that's a different story. WR screens they have been highly effective with in terms of what they are trying to accomplish.

Using a few games where they didn't work well but ignoring the myriad of games going all the way back to Daboll calling "Gold Rip/Whip" to John Brown who made numerous big plays on those as well seems pretty disingenuous.

The reason they keep running them is because they are usually very effective, not because they aren't.

Looks like I was wrong on Hardman. Didn't think they would do that this soon. We are going to see a different offense this week folks.

Love this. Now I hope they go bold and make Coleman inactive
