Shortchaz Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago From the clips I’m watching, sounds like the bills are doing a poor job of self-scouting. Too many easily predictable plays on offense, be it smelling salts, 86 on the field, first down runs, or being under center, they are on repeat. Quote

Bills are Dead last on 1st downs when it comes to first down passer rating. Hows that even possible when Josh Allen is your quarterback Edited 3 hours ago by BillsFan130 1 Quote

zow2 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Sunday is looking like: High 45, winds 15-25mph, chance rain 50-70%. Cloudy. Rain showers likely before 1pm, then some rain and snow showers persist. Should be an advantage for the QB with the big hands. On the football side, it sounds like Gabe Davis has the answers. He said the Bills collectively have forgotten how hard it is to win, and need to get back to playing to their standards. Quote

The answer if we lose this game is.... nothing happens. It would take another month of poor play for any kind of fall out IMO. 1 Quote
Special K Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I see the Bills are wearing their Throwback All-White Uniforms this week...... Too bad Tampa isn't wearing their "Creamsicle" Throwbacks as well. 2 Quote

How many weeks of asking McDermott after bad offensive performances did it take to see him finally make the move off Brady? One thing about McDermott, he does not make snap decisions. If there is an issue he will give the coach what he feels is ample time to make a fix. As fans, it can be frustrating..but as a boss that's fair Quote

Bills use its passing games as an extension of its running game. Basically a lot of short passes looking for yac. They want these long time consuming drives and it’s hard to do over and over again. Everything is getting predictable. Brady is trying to disguise formations to get guys the same opportunities. It’s like every guy is only good for a couple things, Look how many times they throw bubble screeens to Shakir. Different formations, same play. Coleman’s jump balls, Kincaids crossing routes. There is very little versatility in each individual and that’s by design. They rarely try to go to the intermediate and deep levels in the passing until they are put in that 3rd and long situation. If you refuse to attempt that stuff on early downs it makes it easier to cover on later downs. So at this point it’s just a major weakness because it’s not what they want to do and it doesn’t look like it’s practiced much. Even in long situations they still have a lot of short passes where they are looking for yac instead of just trying to get it to the chains. Right now the short passing game is used so often D has no respect for the rest of the field. It’s like the Bills O is playing in a box at this point. Edited 3 hours ago by BananaB 1 Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) The font keeps getting thinner as the list grows longer. One of the frustrating things about all these Practice Squad moves with guys like Davis, Hardman, and Fox, who could all help - probably won't see elevations bc those two elevations are constantly needed to be used for the growing list of players who are Out on a week to week basis. I guess the good news is (thus far) we only have one DNP (outside of Kincaid who we all knew was down for a while) and it's not really an issue. But as we all know, Limited is a 50/50 proposition, at best. Hopefully we see most of this list move from Limited to Full as the week goes on. Edited 2 hours ago by BillsFanForever19 1 1 Quote

For sure, i was more saying that as a rhetorical question. Like there is no way in hell you should be last on 1st down passing offence when JA17 is the QB. Agree with all of what you are saying, especially with everything being predictable 1 Quote
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The big question for me heading into this game is who's active amongst the receivers? It looks like Palmer is back and a chance Davis and/or Hardman could play. Who sits? I'm guessing Shavers is one, I think sitting Coleman is a great idea. It sends a message that needs to be sent about effort! It also could really screw up the Bucs defensive planning as they likely figure with Coleman out there they can defend the way other teams have against us. LOL Quote

Basically really went in depth in how some games Daboll would attack and throw it like 20-25 times in a row depending on the weakness of the opponent. Where Joe Brady for the most part is, "this is our offence and this is what we are going to run", instead of attacking the weaknesses of the defence 3 Quote

I think that going 1-1 in the next two games will be great. I do not give them much of a chance against the Texans so the game Sunday is massive. Lose both and the playoffs are a dream. Win both, then we can breath a sigh of relief. Quote

zow2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I can’t have Allen running around in circles in the backfield, not throw, then get walloped to the ground. Needs to get the ball out and into tight NFL windows. 2 Quote
