totals in 4 of the 16 games under Daboll his last year.  They threw a lot which will make people happy but it is revisionists history if you think there were not real challenges with daboll too

Daboll and Josh were literally unstoppable in the playoffs when it mattered most.

Well I guess the only thing that stopped them was their head coach who couldn't defend 13 seconds

Weird time to fire him. Management (Schoen) and Daboll seemed to agree that Wilson was the bridge QB. It failed miserably. And the Giants now show signs of life with Dart turning in a surprisingly good rookie year. I guess Schoen can't fire himself.

Very weird

The fact that Schoen was not fired and the fact the Giants fired Daboll mid season leads me to believe that Dabolls demeanor was determined a problem and he had to be removed

The Giants don't typically fire in season and if Schoen was a dead man walking you might as well do that now too

Sean should 100% put his ego aside and at least explore the possibility of bringing him on on some capacity.

I'm not a Daboll fan, but we did have success in the passing game when he was here. And this offense and Josh desperately needs a new set of eyes.

I mean, we had a prime Diggs, Beasley, Brown, Emanual Sanders, a productive young Gabe Davis paired with an emergent Josh Allen. He wouldn't have nearly the same type of toys today.

The offense was a dud in the playoff games against the Ravens (defense won that) and the first Chiefs playoff loss.  He was at the helm for the Pats/Chiefs combo in 2021, sure, but we had some good offensive playoff performances under Brady too.

Our current sense of desperation is sure bringing out the rose colored glasses. Seems we've completely forgotten beauties like this: https://www.espn.com/nfl/game/_/gameId/401326456/bills-jaguars.

Schoen has put together a decent roster. The OL needs work, but it looks like they have their QB, RB, and WR 1. The DL has some good talent as well. I am not saying this is a Super Bowl contender but there are nice pieces in place for the new coach to work with.

Very true. I'm thinking Schoen may have survived this season and will be there for the off season

That ravens game was played in a borderline hurricane lol.  It's impossible to judge that game. Lamar and the ravens got 3 points for context.

In totality for 2020 and 2021, the bills offence was ridiculously good in the playoffs

I thought the same thing.  Costing your organization 500k because you let your emotions dictate your actions likely added to it as well.   I thought they may get hot down the back stretch and save his job.  His attitude had to have played a part.

I would not mind Daboll being back, I believe he could get something more out of this roster.

Agree, but he and McDermott don’t get along. As far as our defense goes, Babich makes Leslie Frazier look like a hall of famer.

With the timing of it all, I'm with you on the attitude thing.

I'm picturinf his demeanor and the way he spoke to people on Hard Knocks and then imagining that on a daily...

Daboll was a complete phony as OC.  He was simply a product of Josh Allen.  No different than the 2 bums that have succeeded him on the Bills.

Except they both need each other right now. And when you're desperate, you make do.

Daboll is getting paid to sit on his *** the rest of the season and will have no issue finding a OC position in the off-season. He doesn't need anything.

But if he gets bored 🤷‍♂️
