But I’m guessing he isn’t. You have absolutely no idea if Miami is willing to make any deal with us. But yeah keep bashing Beane no matter what. 1 1 Quote

Like i said he wont do anything Significant. Would love to see it though. Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago IMO last night's showing may tip Beane toward looking at an "All In" type move. Not saying I expect it, but I think he will at least consider trading a 2nd or 1st 1 Quote

The cooper trade didn’t end up looking flashy statistically but the offense did improve a lot when he got added. Hynes was def a bust bet getting hit by a jet ski or whatever the heck happened to him in the offseason that one year definitely didn’t help 😂 Edited 7 hours ago by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 1 Quote
ngbills Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago Maybe this should have been titled eagles deadline trades 1 Quote

HamptonBillsfan Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I’m starting to be concerned about our GM’s ability to make trades to fortify positions that are weaknesses. I’m so tired of hearing how salary cap constraints are preventing Beane making moves. How does Howie Roseman bring in 3 quality starters with all the ProBowlers on their roster. This guy doesn’t not project urgency in the way he runs the Bills. Hopefully the win against KC doesn’t put back in his shell and we get stiffed. 1 1 Quote

I always thought both Chubb and Phillips were highly overrated and Phillips is a free agent after this year. Maybe being in the Eagles org vs the Dolphins org will help . Def won’t hurt him but I’m sure he’s not thrilled he’s a Miami guy He's a west coast guy. He's going to a place where he is going to a loaded front 7 to play with leads for a DC he's familiar with. He can look at what Josh Sweat gained from having the same situation. He should be thrilled. 1 Quote
SydneyBillsFan Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Where in the hell do the Iggles find the cap space? Every year they trade for a big name or two. 1 Quote

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I’m not overly concerned with replacing a DT here. I feel like for the most part what we need are space eaters. I think what we gained with 55 was almost like a Lorax hybrid pass rusher. Like a thick stand up pass rusher. I want to see a guy like that added. Like a guy that can be moved all over but be disruptive. We have plenty of bodies inside. We are doing to much with thinking we need all these DTs. We need a guy to make the QB uncomfortable and for whatever reason those guys need to be standing up in this defense 1 Quote

I’ve heard Beane go on for years about refusing to mortgage our future and I get the concern but also understand that we have a once in a generation QB who isn’t getting any younger and a divisional foe who might have finally caught if not surpassed us in talent. If Beane can’t swing at least one meaningful addition here, it’ll be another year of depending on Josh to put on the Superman cape and do everything himself and another early exit in an otherwise wide open AFC. Why aren’t we in on these three guys? Why aren’t we in on Shaheed already? Beane tries to hit home runs and win every transaction but sometimes your needs and the other suitors prevent this and necessity demands you give up assets. Quote

He is always hurt, has an expiring contract and was super expensive at the cost of a 3rd round pick. Also that deal was like a sweetheart deal for Phillips. He had his best year under fangio and can step right in with philly play right away and know the defense. Quote

I hope the fanbase realizes the urgency you referenced about bringing in more talent. I like our chances with a vertical threat receiver, some quality secondary piece and some depth on the D-line. Without at least 2 of these positions being addressed, we’ll struggle against quality teams. 1 Quote
boyst Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Congratulations guys. No one posted one of the stupid tweets that says "interested," or "taking calls," or "making calls." It's amazing how some dbag wants attention and posts something. Examples: BarfBooger420 on Twitter: "Bills interested in WR's, would like to acquire Justin Jefferson, Jamar Chase, Jerry Rice, or Da'Rick Rodgers." Splooge6969 NFL Insider: " Multiple teams calling around asking for price of Justin Simmons, Rasheed Shaheed. Teams needing help: Bills, Patriots, Steelers." It's annoying as *****. 1 Quote
