Yes it did. They shut down that high power offense. I don’t get all the comments about blowing out KC. It’s going to be a tough game. Allen needs to ball out.

The next Patriots game is huge.

If we lose this game the next patriots game will mean very little. They aren’t going to give us a ton back here and we have very difficult games down the stretch. We need both but we need this one

The Pats have an easy schedule - but that's still a pretty middlin' team. They could lose to anyone in the division. They could lose to the Ravens, Bucs, Bengals, even the Falcons.

If they really do rip through their schedule like everyone thinks, it will be a bit like defying gravity.  They're just not that team yet.

Big difference between Josh and Goff. Cook is a better back than anything Detroit has at running back. If the Bills line plays like it did against Carolina, KC will have a long night even if they put 8 in the box.

No way man. I love Cook’s game and was only ever critical of him getting $18m+ like was being reported that he wanted… But he isn’t better than Gibbs. It’s closer than most think. Montgomery? Absolutely.

I mean, I would assume Carolina wanted to stop him...

Every defense wants to stop plays, doesn't mean it's automatic just because it is the focus of the defense.

The Panthers are a mediocre team with a bottom barrel rush defense. I am talking about good teams.

Can we pump the brakes slightly on the Pats? They look solid but they've beaten Carolina, New Orleans, Cleveland, Miami, Tennessee and then us. I'm not ready to pencil them in for 14 wins quite yet.  We've been in this same boat with Miami's hot starts back when the league had no idea to what to do with Tua/McDaniels and that offense was running roughshod on everyone. Remember Miami's 70 point game? Sustained success like that is rarely seen in the NFL once the league adjusts to your fastball.

Without Palmer, I think the Chiefs will load up on the run/short pass and not care about the deep shots. I'm not confident about this one.

Everyone who said they'd rather have the Ravens win their Chiefs game a few weeks ago was foolish. The Chiefs will continue to be a threat to the Bills.

The game plan will probably be similar to Carolina. We will run big personnel packages 2 and 3 tight ends , extra lineman and pound the ball down their throat. We can out physical most teams. KC won’t be any different at home. If Cook gets going we win this game.

It sucks that the Bills are in this position. At the beginning of the season, I had tagged two possible losses based on my expectations. This week’s game and the Philly game. Looks like I might’ve been a little bit off in my expectations.

Think Josh and Co know what they have from here on out. You win and the rest takes care of it self. We have a tough schedule down tge stretch but all they can do now is stack wins. If they lose a few of these and lose the division they can’t look around for excuses.

And the Chiefs will be happy to give us the running game. Smaller margin of error for us and a higher probability of being stopped in the RZ. They will trade TDs to our FGs in that scenario.

Let me know when we have the best DT duo in the league. Instead of the current reality when we have a bunch of rookies and a fringe FA guy playing in his 2nd game with the team.

I think Deone Walker and Michael Hoecht are gonna surprise some people in the middle this game. Hoecht completely changes the dynamic iof this D line

No WR has put over 80 yards on the Chiefs #3 ranked pass defense. Which is fine for us because everyone eats....?

They've only beaten one "good" team, Detroit.

Saquan Barkley led with the most ypg against them at 88, the Chiefs rank #11 at run D.

Cheffers is the referee for Sunday.  KC board has already started complaining.

Maybe - that's the thing.  KC's D may give the Bills something different than what they are expecting and it wouldn't be the first time.  I think they are going to dare the Bills to pass and try to confuse and exploit some of the issues in pass protection this year, but I don't think that they will be consistently stacking the box because the Bills have shown that it isn't all that effective against them and allows them to engage the blocks a lot easier than where there is a less compressed box.  You can bet that they will be attacking any horizontal aspect of the Bills passing game and will try to prevent the WR screen game with Shakir.  I see them playing wide daring Josh to throw the intermediate routes and hemming him in on the right side.  It will be a game where Coleman, Samuel, Moore, Knox, or Hawes has to step up in the receiving game.

I went to pro football reference, I have Bills at 9-3 in the Josh Allen era with Cheffers as the referee. he did ref two notable losses, the Derrick Henry stomping in 2020 and the Cinci Playoff game where we didn't come to play.
