The work they're doing with soft tissue injuries is amazing. Negative. I don’t think he’s back this season. It’s a 3 month injury at best and that’s coming back with a heavy brace to keep the elbow from getting hyperextended. He’s done for the season. Oliver is now part of the All Glass team which includes Milano, Bernard, Samuel, and Spector (if you consider him still part of the team). What a joke 2 Quote

TheFunPolice Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I would think strength in the arm would be an issue even after it's healed? Or even upper body strength in general. I imagine lifting and strength training would be hard with this injury Quote

You’re right that the number is listed, but there just isn’t a practical way this is possible: Joey Bosa - 280 Ed Oliver - 287 Larry Ogunjobi - 305 He outweighs all these guys? Bosa by THIRTY pounds? Something is off Quote

He's going to be a fan favorite Yeah idk about this. Most sources listed him more like 288-290. He’s also an inch taller than Hoecht and he’s 20 fewer lbs? There is just no way. Quote

Something is off I looked him up when I saw him at the game and he was bigger than I thought. I don’t think he is 310, but he’s got to be in the 280’s at least. He is bigger than Oliver. Quote

Hoecht was huge at Brown easily in the 300s so he can hold weight Quote

I can do this all day so I’ll spare you my boneheadedness I just don’t see how he’d be playing the edge that weight. Quote

Even Chris Jones plays on the edge occasionally and he's 300 lb it does happen occasionally Hoecht like Lorenzo Alexander has been everything from 300 lb to 260 but he looks a lot bigger than 260-270 right now.. I'd say he's probably 285 290 Edited 10 hours ago by Buffalo716 Quote

Even Chris Jones plays on the edge occasionally and he's 300 lb it does happen occasionally Yep I agree and these are obvious passing downs. Hoecht’s snaps on the IDL have been the Solomon 3rd DE interior rusher. We saw him lined up over the C on Oliver’s sack in the first drive. I’ll give you 290 even 295. But this dude is not Calais Campbell. Despite my rant, I am very excited about his “disruptor” level that I think he brings to the DL. Quote

Well Calais Campbell is a Hall of famer.. this guy is finding his niche in the NFL still But he's been an off-ball linebacker defensive end defensive tackle in college it shows he's a pure football player Edited 9 hours ago by Buffalo716 Quote

Calais is 6’6” 315 which is reportedly only 5 lbs heavier that Hoecht (despite being two inches taller). 1 Quote
Richard Noggin Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago The Hoecht weight debate is ignoring all team-related nuggets (Chris Brown and Sal Cappaccio and the gang) saying ~260 lbs? He could be a little heavier after his offseason strength training regimen...ahem...but he's nowhere near 280 to my amateur eye. Quote

He'd have to agree to a trade (no sure thing), but he's still productive: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CampCa99.htm. AZ's season is probably over given that division and I can see them being sellers. Yes. Cost cant be bad, itd tske a bad front office to tell the man no to a run. Exactly the type of dude you gi after here. Might not get volune of plays, but enough in tank to turn it on when needed.
