Why not sign Christian Wilkens to PS and see what he has?

I am growing to this idea. Just don't let him touch anyone--on his own team.

That right there wins the thread.

Does he play Defensive Tackle?

Just responding to the comment about justifying draft position

The Bills probably won't because he.doesn't fit the process but I expect if the Chiefs or Eagles had a critical need for a DT they wouldn't blink twice.

  • DJB changed the title to Ed Oliver bicep injury - likely out regular season

Hope the surgery goes well at least.  I'd love to think that he could be back for a playoff run.

What's the scoop w/ Sanders & Jones?  Any timetables for either's return?

Now would not be shocked if we trade for a DL instead of a WR...

Calling up Tennessee to see what they want for Jeffrey Simmons

That would truly be a power play move for January and February

The Chiefs do need a defensive tackle and they're not running to sign Christian Wilkins

It would probably also mean no upgrade at WR.  I'd have to question that kind of move (though of course it would be cool to see that headline).

Exactly. The process BS has run its course.

He won't be effective even if he does return this year.

We're getting Palmer back who does win enough on the outside.. when you couple him with shakir in the slot and Kincaid and James Cook

We have a screen game... Palmer is the intermediate guy... Coleman is the contested catch specialist who now is playing the role of the intermediate guy but he's not ready for it yet

Kincaid is the focal point of the passing offense

If all of those guys are healthy coming into the playoffs on a cold field where the offense has the advantage because they know where they're going...

We have a terrific run game ... And we haven't even opened up Josh Allen's run game.. which will actually open up the pass

Dawson Knox is absolutely a top 20 tight end in the league and we don't throw him the ball but he is capable

Do they? They still have Chris Jones and the Bills just lost their best DT. All options need to be considered.

Chris Jones is more of them chess match piece.. goes all over the line of scrimmage including lining up at defensive end

Derrick nnadi is now entrenched at starter.. and he hasn't had a sack in 2 years

And Chris Jones lines up at defensive end a bunch... So at pure defensive tackle they are thin and Chris Jones has a lot of wear and tear

He actually takes plays off now because he's old
