Watkins90 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago While it was clearly offside, I'm glad the refs didn't let Rodgers yell at them into throwing a flag. 1 Quote

On the remote chance that you get a little bit of extra leeway from a ref who wants to throw as many flags as he can, there is a far greater chance that you are just going to give up a catch because, again, all it does is slow you down, create separation and put you off balance. Justin Tucker is the only other one I can think of. If you're interested do a little research on that field in the fall; it's kind of interesting and has been going on for decades. He was super shaky when he signed too. I. Believe they had performance issues at K or had an injury and he sucked at first. Seemed like his career was heading for the end but he turned it around big time. 1 Quote

I played corner in college and we were always trained if we were not completely on the hip sealed on the route You wait till you see the wide receivers hands start to go up and then you throw your hands up through there catch radius breaking the basket It's one thing if you're in zone breaking on the ball with your eyes A man coverage chasing a ball you play the wide receiver's hands Quote

I've played some corner as well and some of these guys think that turning your head and tracking a ball midflight while not losing any speed or balance is just something that any ballplayer should be able to do on any route. There's a reason these guys are now coached not to bother trying it outside of unique circumstances. Every single week I see multiple completions given up because a CB tried to turn his head instead of staying with his man and getting an arm/hands into the basket. 1 Quote
Low Positive Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 1 minute ago, Einstein said: How do the refs miss an Offside that blatant!?!? Well, they missed a false start on Pittsburgh earlier where the left tackle starting pulling a full half-second early. Quote

Been down here over 40 years, it is a more physical style, especially with the Ravens in the division over the years. Edited 2 hours ago by billsfan714 Quote

zow2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The Safety got interfered with, stepped back so he wouldn’t get called, gave up the catch, and then got hurt at the end of the play. brutal Quote

Pitt football coach Pat Narduzzi admitted that he felt guilty for not warning Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin about the poor condition of the Acrisure Stadium field after the team's October 4 game against Boston College. The field was re-sodded on the 21st and Pitt played on it yesterday. It's a weird combo of northerly latitude, natural grass field, and a major college and NFL team sharing a field. Not sure if this arrangement exists anywhere else. 1 Quote
