49ers defense shouldn’t be this good to stymie that ATL offense. But I guess it’s the version of the Falcons offense that scored 0 against Carolina.

The problem is that the same play will be called differently every week in the NFL.  Remember the Drake Maye intentional grounding that wasn't called?  Tonight they were sticklers for the rule and likely took Falcon points off the board.  Tomorrow night they won't call it on an even worse violation.

Technically I’m pretty sure it is against the rules to pull a teammate with the ball forward. Not sure I’ve ever seen it called though.

For all of the talent the Niners have had in recent years it amazes me that they haven't won a SB yet.  Even with key injuries they are still beating good teams.

Seems to me that Mac Jones and Brock Purdy are pretty much equal.

Part of that is the plug and play Shanahan offense of course.

Many such cases. Hiring a fired HC to be a coordinator often leads to good results.

I don’t know if there are any dominant defenses in the league. Of course a dominate pass rush negates passing. But the short fields, and these spread offenses put a lot of stress on defenses.
