49ers defense shouldn’t be this good to stymie that ATL offense. But I guess it’s the version of the Falcons offense that scored 0 against Carolina.

Technically correct. But weird. they really aren’t that precise with the “out of the tackle box.” He was like a foot or two away.

The problem is that the same play will be called differently every week in the NFL.  Remember the Drake Maye intentional grounding that wasn't called?  Tonight they were sticklers for the rule and likely took Falcon points off the board.  Tomorrow night they won't call it on an even worse violation.

Xavier Watts making a play  😑

He’s been better than the Ravens first round safety, Starks.

I would rather have 2nd and 10 than 1st and 15 from a defensive standpoint.

The Mac Jones led 49ers, with half their defensive starters out, are about to take down the mighty Atlanta Falcons. Crazy league.

Technically I’m pretty sure it is against the rules to pull a teammate with the ball forward. Not sure I’ve ever seen it called though.

yet we saw intentional grounding when the QB was 1 foot inside the tackle box!

They really need to spend this much time looking at this replay?

For all of the talent the Niners have had in recent years it amazes me that they haven't won a SB yet.  Even with key injuries they are still beating good teams.

Seems to me that Mac Jones and Brock Purdy are pretty much equal.

Part of that is the plug and play Shanahan offense of course.

How are the Raiders this bad?

TB12 is there minority owner. How is he not sitting next to the Raider's coordinators every friggin game with a pair of binoculars and a tablet?

Tom Brady is the lead NFL analyst for Fox Sports, which makes him unavailable on game days.

News flash ............. Carson Wentz still sucks.  Watching him now I can't fathom how he played at a high level for a couple of years.

It makes me wonder if the Eagles would have won the Super Bowl had he not gotten injured.

I thought the Pats had an easy schedule but geez the Colts get to play the Savannah Bananas.

The Colts or the Bananas?

Definitely. Right now it's just waiting for Daniel Jones to turn into a pumpkin. And with each passing week that becomes less likely.

EDIT: or for him to get hurt.

DJ and Dart's recent play make it difficult to understand how DJ failed with the Giants.

Due to the bye, I’ve been flipping through games all day. The league has become extremely easy to pass the ball. I don’t ever remember football appearing this easy moving the ball. I don’t know if there are any dominant defenses in the league. Of course a dominate pass rush negates passing. But the short fields, and these spread offenses put a lot of stress on defenses. You gotta get a dominant line…

I don't understand why Harbaugh has Greg Roman as his OC.

They had great success together at Stanford and with the Forty Niners.
